Signs at an abandoned highway stop, Halloran Springs, CA, backlit by a bright moon. Vintage signs that some might still notice when driving between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. One person proposed beneath this sign. I love happy stories. She said yes. He purchased this print for their anniversary! This photo also appears in my first book "Abandoned Southern California: The Slowing of Time", a book of history and night photography. Illuminated by a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light and a full moon while the camera shutter was open.

I just love hiking in mountains, and once I had this incredible view. This shot was taken from a small platform between the rives of a river in french Alps. It was a little bit risky because with people around me. I didn't want to fall.
I just love the contrast on this image with the green of the forest against the brown of the rock !

Anyone who's been backpacking in the forest, knows the feeling to well, the scenery all starts looking the same after a while. This is the beauty of photography, a glimpse of the trail frozen in time, so we can later appreciate the delicacy of nature and all its complexity.
