I used it for the background for my gerbera pic! it is official--I am a bit ????????? The white tips on the edge of the petals is not frost!

A gloxinia that I grew from a young plant from my aunt!

OK... I thought I'd post another shot of the flower below...

This is the flower before I was able to convince it to turn around and look at the camera...

See... nothing to be shy about! Such a gorgeous flower! :)

For almost 7 years , I have enjoyed clicking on a flickr website that was inviting, visually pleasing, friendly and easy to navigate...

On May 20th , I clicked on a Flickr that was garish , claustrophobic , visually unappealing and very awkward to navigate ...

Like the wild chicory in the above image, I am true blue and loyal to the classic Flickr layout ....

There is timeless wisdom in the old proverb :

"If it ain't broken ...... don't fix it "
