Trip up to Snowdon across to the lyn peninsula and down the west coast to Tenby

Portmeirion is a tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village, and is now owned by a charitable trust.

Watching a sunset at Bestwood Country Park in Nottingham was very laid back. I can't decide whether I want a country life after I grow old. There are too many things I love to do in my life, and I mean, too many! I am not sure whether I can refer myself as an adrenaline junkie, but I always feel like I don't have enough time to do everything that I want to do. You know what I mean? So the thoughts of living a country life never really crossed my mind. But come to think of it, I think it will be fine since I get to do everything slowly and take awesome HDR's of sunset everyday!

Saw a buddy on Facebook talking about how clear it was on her run this morning. So I ran up there to take some shots. This was around 2 PM. I really need to get up there earlier to have the sun light up the city better. It was a fairly clear day but at this time there was some particulate in the air and the sun really glares off into the lens. You can see Catalina Island in the distance. The shiny part in front of it is the sun light shining off the ocean water.

This image was produced using three bracketed exposures of the same subject, combined and tonemapped using Photomatix Pro software, to produce a single High Dynamic Range image - which reveals far more detail and colour than a single exposure. The image was then tweaked some more in Photoshop CS.
