सत फाउंडेशन के सोजन्य से आज दिनाक 01 /03/2015 को M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) फूसगढ़ (करनाल ) में होली पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म किया गया जिसमे मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री अमरेन्द्र सिंह ओ. अस. डी. to मुख्यामंत्री हरियाणा व श्री शेर सिंह जी जेल सुपरिटेंडेंट करनाल व सत फाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन सतेन्द्र कुमार ,ईश्वर सिंह,सुमेर चन्द , डायरेक्टर मनोज कुमार व दीपक कुमार व सेक्रटरी भविष्य साहनी, नरेन्द्र कुमार, विरेन्दर,अनिल , हँस कुमार, व M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) के चेयरमैन पी. आर .नाथ व सभी बच्चे और सभी टीम मेम्बर व सभी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने मिलकर होली के पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म में भाग लिया. होली पर्व को मनाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव कल्याण ही है होली पर्व के पीछे तमाम धार्मिक मान्यताएं, परम्पराएं और ऐतिहासिक घटनाएं छुपी हुई हैं पर अंतत: इस पर्व का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव–कल्याण ही है। लोकसंगीत, नृत्य, नाट्य, लोककथाओं, क़िस्से–कहानियों और यहाँ तक कि मुहावरों में भी होली के पीछे छिपे संस्कारों, मान्यताओं व दिलचस्प पहलुओं की झलक मिलती है। होली को आपसी प्रेम एवं एकता का प्रतीक माना जाता है। होली हमें सभी मतभेदों को भुलाकर एक–दूसरे को गले लगाने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करती है। इसके साथ ही रंगो का त्यौहार होने के कारण भी होली हमें प्रसन्न रहने की प्रेरणा देती है इसलिए इस पवित्र पर्व के अवसर पर हमें ईर्ष्या, द्वेष, कलह आदि बुराइयों को दूर भगाना चाहिए। वास्तव में हमारे द्वारा होली का त्यौहार मनाना तभी सार्थक होगा जब हम इसके वास्तविक महत्व को समझकर उसके अनुसार आचरण करें। इसलिए वर्तमान परिवेश में जरूरत है कि इस पवित्र त्यौहार पर आडम्बर की बजाय इसके पीछे छुपे हुए संस्कारों और जीवन मूल्यों को अहमियत दी जाए तभी व्यक्ति, परिवार, समाज और राष्ट्र सभी का कल्याण होगा।
Campus Ministry at the University of Saint Mary hosted a Hunger Awareness event on April 9, 2014, wrapping up an entire week of hunger awareness activities.
Members of the Hunger Awareness Team discussed food security and world hunger statistics, and attendees drew slips of paper to determine what and how they would eat.
Two attendees were served a steak dinner at a finely set table and a handful of others ate pizza at smaller tables. The majority, though, ate rice and beans without utensils, while seated on tarps on the floor. This division of foods and eating situations was to represent the percentage of the world population with various levels of food security.
After eating, attendees passed around a microphone and discussed their feelings about the event and the lot that they drew.

An awareness raising campaign evolving around the need to protect water resources together has been launched at national level. Billboards, radio and TV ads have been broadcasted at national level. Part of the campaign also includes talks in local stakeholders. This photos was taken during a talk organised on 29 April 2016.

The National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) in partnership with Relief International organized Media Awareness Campaign program, held for 40 participants drawn from the Media, civil society, local universities, at Mogadishu’s Siyaad City Hotel on Thursday November 13, 2014.
The one day event, which was supported by the European Union, was entitled “Connecting between people and Media” and was aimed at highlighting the importance of the media to the public and its benefits and contributions to a building a healthy and democratic society, the public perception and exploring the future of the Somali media.
Tule Vyema organised a Diabetes education class attended by 8 women in Kajiado County Kenya. The objective of the class was to create awareness& provide education to women in line with the 2017 theme which involves women.

ADT takes Sexual and Reproductive Health Education to the next level as they create awareness in areas that have minimal access to information. Here the villagers of Muttur in Trincomalee have fun while learning the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Desmania Foundation is an initiative of designers Sandhya Raman and Anuj Prasad. On 5 April 2014, at their smart design studio in Lado Sarai, New Delhi, Sandhya and Anuj marked Autism Awareness Day through a fashion show entitled ‘The Nurture Collection’ at which models wore garments designed by Sandhya Raman based on intuitive art works created by persons with Autism. The National Information Officer of UNIC New Delh, Rajiv Chandran, delivered the message of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Autism Awareness Day.
