Series complete
I finally caught a Airbus A340-200, and it is the oldest of them all as well. c/n 004 but the first A342. Build in 1992 and delivered in 1997 to the Saudi Arabian government she is since 2012 flying for Al-Atheer Aviation.
I just put a deposit down on this gorgeous aircraft! I'm entering a partnership agreement with a few other student pilots and an instructor, which should really keep overall costs down including training costs. I took it up for a test flight a few weeks ago with its current owner and it was fantastic - easy to maneuver and amazing visibility through that big bubble canopy! I'm beyond excited to fulfill this lifelong dream. While I’ve already commenced ground school, I’ll start flying lessons with this aircraft in March once back from some international travel. Stay tuned for more..
