Breitling SuperOcean sitting on the desk at work. I didn't clean this one either before taking photographs. I know it has finger prints and stuff arond the glass and while I don't see them in the photo it has food and scuff marks around the edges because i am a messy eater and wear this thing almost every day.
Automatic Half-Barrier crossing.
Here on the 26th July 1986 there was East Yorkshire's worst rail crash.
There were nine fatalities including a passenger in a Ford van which went onto the crossing & was struck by a 4 car passenger train.
The train was de-railed by the rear axle of the van, when the front truck of the train hit it.
At the time of the crash this was a completely open crossing.
There was a signal box and a signalman who operated the crossing.
The signal box would have been behind the steel cabinet on the lower left side of the frame.
