After the campaign speaches the crowd started to leave - not us, I grabbed my daughter and used my elbow to get through to the front. We managed to get directly to the barricades and meet Hillary Clinton, shake hands with her, and get her autograph on my baseball cap (I had nothing else with me). She even remarked on Lilla's glasses that she had similar once when she was a little girl.

Lilla bordó szemüvegére megjegyezte, hogy neki is ilyen volt kislánykorában.
2008. május 3-án este politika iránt érdeklődő 11 éves kislányommal elmentem az Indianapolisban, a White River State Parkban tartott Hillary előválasztási kampánygyűlésre. A beszédek után Hillaryvel kezet is fogtam és aláírást is kaptam tőle.
In the evening of May 3, 2008, I took my 11-year old daughter (who is interested in politics) and I drove to Indianapolis to a primary campaign rally of Hillary. After the speeches we met with her in person, shook hands, and I even got her autograph.

Az idős és mozogni és már csak tolókocsival képes Oscar Peterson egyik utolsó koncertjére mentem el Mississauga-ban, Ontario, Kanada. Peterson itt élt ebben a Torontóval egybeépült kertvárosban, és annak tiszteletére lépett fel, hogy az iskolát róla nevezték el. Volt ugyan egy szerény belépődíj, de az esemény nem kapott túl nagy nyilvánosságot, így kényelmesen odamehettem a mesterhez a rövid tornatermi koncert után és kértem, hogy írja alá a tájékoztató brossúrát. Soha nem felejtem el, ahogy a papírt átvéve kezet fogtam vele, megköszöntem, és minden jót kívántam neki - miközben mélyen a szemembe nézett, és úgy éreztem, hogy igazán emberszámba vett, ami hírességek között nagy szó!
I attended one of the last live performances of the great Oscar Peterson in 2005. He lived in Mississauga, ON, Canada until his death, this is where they named a public elementary school after him and he showed up at the one hour ceremony at the gym and gave a 20-30 minutes piano concert. There was not much crowd there, the ticket was also very reasonable (it probably all went to charity, for the school), so I could easily approach him after the show and ask for his autograph. I will never forget how honestly and deeply he looked up at me from his wheelchair and looked right into my eyes when I thanked him and got back the brossure, shaking his hand. What a great man!

Vienna, Austrian Capital, home of Strauss and the Viennese Waltz, I have often been here on business with good memories. After I pedalled with my Unicycle through the crowds around the Dome, I had to provide autograms.
Wien, Österreichs Hauptstadt und Heimat von Strauss sowie dem Wiener Walzer - über Jahre war ich hier regelmässig geschäftlich und erinnere mich gerne. Nachdem ich mit dem Einrad durch die Massen den Stephansdom umrundet hatte, musste ich Autogramme geben.

We had Adam with us,...a realy cool Kiwi guy...with his nice station wagon,...now he is the fear of the street with his skull in the front and collecting autograms from everybody he meets

Zum 5. Mal Mitch Ryder und man wurde wieder überrascht, mit einer komplett neuen Setlist. Es wurden sogar 2 Titel im Reggaerhythmus gespielt - mal was anderes. Das ganze Konzerte dauerte 2:10 Stunden.
