I was sitting in my apartment working on a project when I saw what looked like a rainbow in the sky. Stupidly, I waited a bit before shooting it, so it was somewhat obscured by the time I got to it.

 

It hadn't been raining in hours and appeared to not curve, so I don't think it was actually a rainbow, but something caused a prismatic display in the clouds.

 

I told Aperture to autoadjust the color levels and it came up with this ominous-looking picture that's not really at all accurate, but it shows the rainbow coloring much better. Looks kinda cool too!

If you look closely, you might see microscopic mushrooms.

Taken from my back porch. I happened to notice the red glow from my dining room and went out to investigate. I wish I'd had a more clear shot, it was stunning.

they smell a lot like jasmine, but i really don't know what they are.
