Get rid of your standard authentication media, your smart card, your USB token, your reader and be free to move around with your inseparable companions only, your smart phone and your laptop. With them alone you can fully benefit of strong authentication mechanisms thanks to iEnigma® by charismathics®. The latest cutting edge technology delivered with a completely new user experience. Stop waiting for the IT administrator to set some weird architecture for you, do it independently yourself with some few clicks from your smart phone.
Organizations have enforced smart card authentication in recent years; however this technology is perceived as cryptic and cumbersome by many. iEnigma by charismathics simplifies strong authentication by using smart phones instead. The software is compatible with most PKI applications on computers and smart phones, maintaining the exact security standards. With iEnigma the user can log into his system, sign emails and documents, encrypt communications just as before, saving on buying other hardware and opening new ranges of use cases.
iEnigma is a mobile PKI security solution, absolutely unique and thus patented. Comparable products are either OTP or password based. Companies did not invest in architectures securing the communication between smart phone and laptop or mirroring the strong authentication and digital signature functionalities like a smart card does. With iEnigma, charismathics has translated standard APIs into Bluetooth language, reproducing the exact PKI authentication environment. Providing full TMS compatibility, enabling secure PIN entry and secure channel messaging by default, the software is immediately available for Windows Mobile. iEnigma will soon run on Android, RIM and Apple, also supporting NFC enabled units.
iEnigma simplifies strong authentication opening it to wider range of user groups. Already using smart cards, iEnigma enhances IT security by design, maintaining compatibility to investments made before. Introducing strong authentication, it extensively saves on hardware and is more flexible to use. Organizations save on constantly lost or damaged hardware.
iEnigma bridges user credentials from phones into computers, encrypting the communication channel, allowing PIN entry on the smart phone itself, thus enhancing the security compared to standard smart cards. By supporting applications on the phone, it works remotely as well. The full PKI compatibility allows for unchanged internal processes.
iEnigma re-invents the smart card and is the first strong authentication product that incorporates the expected permutation of corporate IT systems. Supporting common smart phone platforms, it supports applications both on the computer and the smart phone, putting all credentials together in a secure data container on the phone, whether it is the key chain, flash memory, SIM card or additional secure microSD cards such as the Secure Element for NFC operations. All current products are proprietary or represent a niche - no one offers an iEnigma-like 2-in-1 solution and with side benefits such as: full PKI compatibility; significant reductions in hardware cost by replacing tokens and readers using the phone instead; allowing encrypted communication; secure PIN entry; flexible credentials manageable by the user. iEnigma makes full use of the advantages of smart phones and is still fully compatible with all standard processes, APIs, cryptography algorithms and identity management systems. There is no other product opening the range of contactless authentication applications for PKI, such as in hospitals or transportation or payment schemes. The simple user interface opens up strong authentication to small organizations and the single user, reducing identity thefts and phishing attacks within day-to-day use.

Through Park West's extensive network of artists, publishers and representatives, Park West Gallery has the capacity to offer for sale and authenticate works through the artists themselves, or the definitive experts for the various masters whose works they offer.
The vast majority of our collection comes directly from living artist themselves. Our archives of works by deceased artists are either obtained directly from the estates of those artists or purchased through recognized international auction companies, and in all cases, when possible, are taken to the estate of the artists or to the recognized expert in that area for authentication.
Park West Gallery’s collection is available through art auctions around the world on cruise ship, land events held at luxury hotels and our gallery located in Michigan. To view a sample of this amazing collection, click the link below.

History
In 1969, Albert Scaglione opened Park West Gallery in Southfield, Michigan, after being a Wayne State University teacher of mechanical engineering. He bought Escher prints for $50 and was able to retail them for many times that price.
Park West Gallery has 63,000-square-foot (5,900 m2) premises on the Northwestern Highway, employing 200 staff in Oakland County, Michigan and over 1,000 worldwide. It has 181,000-square-foot (16,800 m2) offices in South Florida. Works ranges from $2,000 to a $1 million Renoir; as well as historic artists, it also represents contemporary artists, such as Southfield resident Marcus Glenn and Israeli sculptor, Yaacov Agam, who makes optical and kinetic art. The gallery is open to the public and provides a service for educational visits.
In addition to its main gallery and art conservation facility in Southfield, Michigan, Park West operates a framing and distribution center in Miami Lakes, Florida, and maintains a catalog and Internet sales business. The company also funds the not-for-profit Park West Foundation, which provides philanthropic support to various groups.
Since 1993, Park West Gallery has been conducting fine art auctions aboard cruise ships, and is the largest business in this field, selling nearly 300,000 artworks a year with a revenue in excess of $300 million, on the Holland America, Oceania, Celebrity, Norwegian, Carnival and Regent lines, and formerly on Royal Caribbean line. Park West states that it is "the world's largest art dealer" based on its volume of sales. The auctions, like shows, gambling and shopping, are a popular aspect of entertainment during the cruise, and provide concessionary income for the cruise operator.
Morris Shapiro is the gallery director and has been part of the company for 25 years. He said the gallery has created a "new paradigm in how art is presented to the public".
Park West Gallery does not reveal financial reports, as it is privately owned. Scaglione stated the 2007 revenue was $300–$400 million. Half of its revenue comes from 85 auctioneers on cruise-ships, and the rest of the revenue is from promotions in hotels and sales in its gallery.
These paintings were exhibited on our cruise ship, the Norwegian Breakaway, during our recent trip to Bermuda.

This is an original 1911 color print of "Poppies, Wheat, and Natane Flowers," by Tawaraya Sotatsu, the Japanese 17th century painter known for his fan-paintings and calligraphy. This colorful image depicts the use of space and depth in his pieces. He was known for painting on top of layers of paint still wet, thus producing the depth of field. The original "Studio" blind emboss mark is present to the side of the print.

Detail study for the cover painting of the Australian Women's Weekly, 20 Oct 1945
(trove.nla.gov.au/aww/read/209041)
"This week's cover, painted by Wep on a recent tour of northern battlefronts, portrays a Dyak warrior from the Limbang area in Sarawak. Appearance of these bloodthirsty headhunters amazed Australians, for their sleek bodies, long hair, and ornaments give an extraordinary impression of femininity. They are comparatively fair, often lighter than suntanned Austraians." - p20
"Have just finished a tea of sorts (we have it at 5.30, which is really about 4 o'clock) and am sitting in solitary state in my own tent watching a sudden tropical downpour, complete with thunders & lightenings. I sit and contemplate the muddy foreground. The uncountable puddles making it nearly as wet as the Limbang River which flows past just a hundred yards away. I am not back at Labuan yet although I intent to return there tomorrow. On the advice of those who know I sidetracked myself to the village of Limbang - a 1 1/2 hours barge run from Brunei. It was worth the visit alright. Here one sees the natives of Borneo, the head hunting Dyak, in their real state.
By God, they're magnificent people. It is hard to associate their grace & beauty with their bloodthirstiness. The extraordinarily feminine features of the young men must be seen to be believed. They are small but wonderfully proportioned - with their long hair, reaching down to the bottom of their shoulder blades, or done up in a pointed bun at the back. They wear too a jet black fringe across the forehead and beaded throat bands. Great big earrings, or rather decorative plugs in their ears. Silver bangles run riot on their forearms, & above the calf of the leg (a wonderful leg too, me girl!). Blue green tatooing's on the throat & shoulders - and a colorful loin cloth sits comfortably alongside the sharpest of swords. Two of the kids, one about 14, the other about 17 were bloody beautiful. I shan't try to draw them for you as I couldn't do them justice. I took some photos of them late in the evening - I hope they come out alright. Chinese & Malays wander up and down the only street all day long. Some good lookers too, by gum. The army crimes anyone found indulging in hanky panky with the native population. The women marry early & have a child every year. For every couple there must be an average 4 or 5 kids, and this by the time the woman is 22."
- Wep, in a letter home to Jess, Tuesday, 31 July 1945.

More lovely gowns, fun outfits, & good memories. Briar has consistently enjoyed SL since this time. She does what she wants, when she wants, does not rely on anyone else for authentication, spends less time inworld but makes sure that time is worthwhile The saying is so true: "Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only YOU can be responsible for it. You have to invest in yourself, or no one else will." (Stacey Charter) The first outfit (far right) is Aztec Purple hanky dress from PWH, Briar remembers a lovely time spent in this dress, visiting her charming friends Kav & Arya at Carousel. Next is Game of Thrones (red) from Rag Dollz (Emedea Morgenstern). Briar wanted to dress appropriately for her tour of the High Garden sim. Next is yet another upgrade of Briar's tigers T-shirt & Velvet jeans, worn for working with her students & for a trip to Astarii to see Scarr. 4th from the right is Moonlight Melody from Caverna Obscura. This has so many fun times associated with it: the Rainy Days Hunt, visiting Hamlet's lovely underground world he had created for Eugenie (Mitsi), touring the Enchanted Unicorn sim, & dancing at EI. The next jeans outfit was created for working with students in the Virtual World Club. The jeans are called... now wait for it... blah, BLAH, blah Leopard Purple Silver Rockin Hawt Pants Dark (from blah, BLAH, blah designer Lyric Derryth - who looks a little like she could be Briar's naughty sister! lol) The next superb gown (5th from the left) is Poison Fractal Night by Essence Huckleberry. Briar bought this on the marketplace, & has tried desperately to find out for whom she designs, or even if she does, as Briar would love to see anything else made by her. If anyone knows anything, please IM Briar. This gown was worn while touring LEA6 & LEA29 with Tif, & for EI dancing. The next outfit is SO COOL! It is called Miss Education Poetry, & was designed by one of the old designers from Grim Bros, Cutea Benelli. Briar wore this when she took her Virtual World Club students to the SL Library on Info Island. Next is another mermaid!!! This is Fishing 4 Compliments from Boudoir (Precious Restless). There was an unforgettable experience in this outift - Briar visited Hamlet in the underwater world he built for Eugenie (Mitsi) & they swam together: Briar , the mermaid, & Hammie, the orca! 2nd from the left is Red Midnight, another gown purchased from the Marketplace, Xand's Kicks & Twirls by Xand Nagy. Briar toured Simple's Zoo of all Things, accompanied by Inara, in this dress. On the far left is another Briar favourite, Empire Aqua from *Deviant Designs*. Briar danced at EI, & visited Hamlet & Mitsi in this lovely gown.

The University of Hull's Royal Charter is authenticated not with a signature, but by a seal. Royal seals are made from wax melted into a mould traditionally showing the monarch enthroned and enrobed on one side and on horseback on the other. This seal is single-sided and attached to the charter via the green ribbon shown here. Her Majesty The Queen signed a warrant authorising the preparation and sealing of the charter – hence the phrase at the bottom of the document: ‘By Warrant under the Queen’s Sign Manual’.

Sorry about the poor quality of the photo here. I liked the way so many signifiers of identities hit me at once as I turned into Newcastle's Bigg Market here. So in the foreground there is this traditional fortune teller's wagon, refering to the travelling community and mysticism. It's authenticated by these painted boards claiming the status of 'grandaughter of Rose Lee' and 'real Welsh gypsy'. Then in the background there's my favourite art noveau Newcastle building, characteristically white and sea green, tall and slender (formerly Alexander's Cafe) which interrupts the street line. We also have the relaunched City Vaults bar with its St George cross banner advertising 'Vaults Mags' and the pseudo London underground motif at its entrance, very strong signifiers of Englishness and London-centrism. Finally, in the middle ground there's the 1894 Joseph Cowen designed Victorian water fountain which comemorates the band of hope and union.

Finger Vein authentication captures images of the vein patterns inside your finger. These, like other biometric patterns, are unique. In addition, because they are inside your body, finger vein patterns are virtually impossible to replicate.
The M2-FV™ finger vein reader works by passing near-infrared light through the finger. This is partially absorbed by the hemoglobin in the veins, allowing an image to be recorded on a CCD camera. Finger Vein authentication is extremely robust, demonstrating a unique ability to easily cope with sweaty, dry, or aged fingers. The finger vein reader is surprisingly inexpensive, making it a viable choice for biometric identification projects of any size, across all markets.

Facebook has a nice feature (yes, really) when you log in from a location you've not been to before. I've seen this a lot recently. You can either answer your secret question or identify friends from a series of photos, of which you're only allowed to get two wrong.
As I discovered this morning, this falls down when photos aren't of a person. Normally it gives you two photos of each person, but not on this occasion.

Later two-dimensional (2D) codes were developed, using rectangles, dots, hexagons and other geometric patterns in two dimensions.
