Don't know this one, out of our area ( about 200km from where we live ). We were looking at bee sites and of course I took the camera.
Have a great weekend, work as usual for us.
It has been raining for a few days and forecast for more rain most of the coming week. What better time for an Aussie Mudbowl rematch!!! Besides, gotta burn that energy off rain or shine!!!
(FYI, everybody won!!! ...except Mom & Dad and the towels)

This Australian Shepherd is being so gentle moving these ducks. Look at how calm the ducks are as the dog is moving them around the course. The ducks look very relaxed and stay together as long as the dog is not pushy. Good dog!
Pictured in the U.K. with the Squadron dog, "Sprog".
This photo appeared in The Royal Air Force Quarterly, Vol. 15 No. 3, June, 1944.
The sort of shot I been hoping to get. This is a great sport and offers real photographic potential for those who could get proper access. No-one's fault but mine for not doing proper research. From front-on you can get a much better view of the jostling etc that's involved in getting position on the runners preferred flag.Anyway. That's all from the Aussies on the Sunshine Coast. Hopefully a little bit of interest, even without any birds :-) .

Well, this is not really a road to nowhere - although it is a dead end street - but it does lead to among other things the most beautiful little dump on the East Coast.... beautiful little dump is probably an exaggeration, but it certainly is the dump with one of THE best views in Australia. These days I suppose it's not called a dump either, but rather a part of the Waste Management Infrastructure. ;-)
This is another one from when i met up with Kim and Steven the other day.
Unfortunately the top of Mount Warning just didn't want to come out to play and stayed hidden during the entire sunset period this particular afternoon.
For other views from this spot see this shot or this and then you'll probably understand my statement of one of the most beautiful views from a dump :-)
Talking Heads - Road to Nowhere
WELL WE KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOIN'
BUT WE DON'T KNOW WHERE WE'VE BEEN
AND WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE KNOWIN'
BUT WE CAN'T SAY WHAT WE'VE SEEN
AND WE'RE NOT LITTLE CHILDREN
AND WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT
AND THE FUTURE IS CERTAIN
GIVE US TIME TO WORK IT OUT
We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
I'm feelin' okay this mornin'
And you know,
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go
CHORUS
Maybe you wonder where you are
I don't care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there...take you there
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
and it's all right, baby, it's all right
And it's very far away
But it's growing day by day
And it's all right, baby, it's all right
They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you
And it's all right, baby, it's all right
We're on a road to nowhere

Art lessons with the Kangaroos on our latest holiday out west. Found a nice spot in the bush and set up and the roos didn't care. They went about their business and we set about ours.
It was an early morning visit to Yankee Hat and the fog had set in. This was the first day testing the new D4 and D800 cameras. This particular shot was with the D800 and 400mm VR F2.8. The kangaroos were active and quite frisky so there were plenty of little boxing matches going on. www.brucelevick.com
Gutted my car broke down on the way over to Santa Pod Friday lunch time then unfortunately the Aussie Outlaw put a hole through a piston in the evening on a 6.7 second pass so I never actually saw the car run.
The car and team have been visiting from Australia having had lots of help from a crown funder and the Banshee Racing team. This was the first Outlaw Anglia to run a 6 second pass and they added a few more 6 second runs while visiting Santa Pod including a quickest ever side by side with Colin Millar also running a 6 at Summer Nationals.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible and wish the team a safe trip home.
This shot was from last Thanksgiving....Just back from the groomers for their semi-annual pro grooming.... Absolutely love my two Aussie kids. They are very high energy and wouldn't have it any other way! With that energy comes a few caveats tho, like, the given fact that rain, shine, snow, heat, or lots of MUD you gotta get them a LOT of exercise!
Photos below are from the first annual 'Aussie Mud Bowl' which usually happens every spring when we have a lot of our annual rainfall and it leaves the yard, well, less than dry lol....
