Class 207 type 3-D DEMU set no. 1302 is seen emerging from Grove Hill Tunnel into Tunbridge Wells Central with train 2L24 the 12.34 Eridge to Tonbridge.
1302 receive TOPS set number 207 002 in August 1986 as a 3-car set. From March 1992 it was reduced to a 2-car set for use on the Hastings - Ashford line and renumbered 207 103 with the intermediate trailer 60601 being scrapped in May 1992. Then in May 1995 the unit was selected for augmentation with a 4-CEP EMU centre coach 70286 and was reclassified as a 3-MAG (Marshlink Additional Gangway) and renumbered 207 203. Against all odds it then became the last class 207 unit in service being withdrawn in January 2005. It was saved for preservation as a 2-car formed of vehicles 60127+60901 as the intermediate EMU coach 70286 went to Immingham for scrap. The unit is now to be found on the Swindon & Cricklade Railway.

At sea, shallows and obstacles can constitute a hidden danger to navigation. These are shown on nautical charts of high traffic areas. A good positioning and a nautical chart are a necessity to avoid these dangers. An additional help is to signal the danger by placing beacons. At sea, a widely used beacon is the buoy.
To indicate the location of the danger, buoys of various shapes, colors, lights and lights are used according to an arranged system. Beacon system. Each region had its own system. Due to the increase in international traffic, the need for a general system has arisen for greater clarity.
Cardinal marking is a way to mark obstacles such as benches and wrecks. The shape and the light signal depend on the position of the safe waterway in relation to the buoy. The International Association of Lighthouse Authorities has established this system internationally in the IALA (International Association of Lighthouse Authorities) Maritime Buoyancy System.
The Nieuwpoortbank buoy is a West cardinal buoy. The tips of the cones point towards each other and the color is yellow-black-yellow.
The Nieuwpoortbank buoy is a western floating buoy in the cardinal buoy system.
Until the early 1990s, this buoy floated above the southwest edge of Nieuport Bank to indicate that the bank must be passed along the west side of the buoy to remain in navigable waters.

The previous version of this model was well done, but I never liked its horns. I then tried an upgraded version with: better horns, more defined character with less semi-divisions, deeper maw, separated nose and jaw, number of teeth increase by 50%. I really like the effect of the pupils more visible when seen from the character's point of view. The eyes were supposed to be closer to the nose, but the layers of the model gave a different effect (visible on the mouth). This version can also have its mouth more opened or closed. Even with all the modifications, this version remains quite similar to the previous one.

...so I relish the challenge of buying cheap dresses on eBay and the ever popular charity shop finds. I always try to keep it all below £5, sometimes only £2 per item. Anyway, that policy goes for the foundation garments too, so no fancy breast augmentations for me. Trying something new here, a digital augmentation. This dress seemed to be calling out for more cleavage and I have the kit here and know how to give it a whirl. Modest working, but it helped. But who am I kidding, who's looking at those digital breasts anyway?
I just got my breast augmentation last week and I'm healing well..I hoping to get some pix done soon so stand by... Next surgery hopefully after the first of the year...my facial feminization then I'll be complete!!! FYI if you notice the picture just before this is the same top as in this one, and you can obviously see the difference the breast augmentation has made, sort of a before and after shots. Thanks to one very humble friend for gifting me PRO, he is a gentleman and special to me. You know who you are I won’t post your name out of respect wanted to let you know I appreciate it so much, thank you once again 💋
A hulking beast, the WXM6 is only to be used by soldiers with appropriate augmentations, such as the BELTFEED forearm (shown) and a support exoskeleton (not shown). Due to extreme rapid fire, the WXM6 is easily able to tear through walls, infantry, and arial units. Armour piercing rounds are available, making short work of tanks and other armoured units as well.
The feathers are for luck.

A failed Peregrine clutch. Always so disappointing to come across at Peregrine nest sites. This ledge was flooded in heavy rains and without adequate drainage it simply goes pair shaped for them. In recent years we have been trying to help various pairs of Peregrines by making some 'changes' to the ledge in order to afford them better protection from such cases. Unfortunately not all ledges conducive to augmentation though. Hoping for a better result this season.
Earlier this week the local media was waxing lyrical about this year's autumn display; Lakeland in particular.
If, like me, you turned up yesterday (3rd Nov'), this was the order of the day, as wave after wave of sullen drizzle bursts swept the celebrated landscape.
Going monochrome seemed to reflect my feelings for the day (you don't say!); I had no intention of photography in this light but, as the day neared an end, I suddenly thought I'd go back to my black & white roots & attempt something less fanciful; something more truthful maybe.
No doubt the technically unrestrained out there would transform this into something more dynamic; I, for one, am getting more & more fed up with Flickr uploads that attempt to turn our beautiful landscapes into grotesque fantasy lands that simply don't exist in reality. This practise would seem to conclude that what we have scenically is somehow inadequate & therefore requires a level of augmentation that doesn't answer to taste.
The bottom line is that these over-indulgences seemingly attract more attention - & much more so than competent & considered composition does.
But that's another can of worms...
Alors comme ca tu veux une augmentation?

This is the second of my just #havetohave Adora dresses from @freshsoulclothing.
And so popular, they are nearly sold out, so I had to make do with a size 14 (up to 2 sizes larger than I usually go for).
But it did mean I had, err, some extra space to fill. Which I did thanks to some augmentation from @houseofpriscilla.

(Es). Historia: Cabo Vidio. Asturias.
The History: Cabo Vidio. Asturias. Spain. We get up soon this morning in San Juan. We gathered the cameras and went away to the Cap Vidio, to approximately 20 km. It was windy and the gulls practically were flying of side. The sky covered with some zones of torn clouds that were stopping came to the water an intense light of long silver reflections.
Taking up: To I peeped of the cliff of the cap. The wind was complicating the capture because the gulls were moving very fast and the slow speed of shot could make them blurred. To a little time the wind subsided and allowed to do this capture with the stablest and still gull.
Treatment: With Aperture. Original JPG with Aperture Basic improving. The final aim was to notice the luminous lines of the reflection of the light in the sea and the reflection of the light in the top of the wing of the gull. To the rest it wanted to take less importance. It has a light increase of the definition and of the black point. The original image has the histogram with the fourth part of left side totally without information since the capture is done in a day of haze that was illuminated by the solar light; it was giving a pale general aspect. To obtain the wished effect, so much in the channel of Luminance as in that of RGB, I took the end of the histogram until all this fourth left part remained excluded. This way there was obtained this dark and dramatic aspect.
That's all folks !!

Transhumanism (abbreviated as H+ or h+) is an international and intellectual movement that aims to transform the human condition by developing and creating widely available sophisticated technologies to greatly enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities.Transhumanist thinkers study the potential benefits and dangers of emerging technologies that could overcome fundamental human limitations, as well as the ethics[3] of using such technologies. The most common thesis is that human beings may eventually be able to transform themselves into different beings with abilities so greatly expanded from the natural condition as to merit the label of posthuman beings. The contemporary meaning of the term transhumanism was foreshadowed by one of the first professors of futurology, FM-2030, who taught "new concepts of the human" at The New School in the 1960s, when he began to identify people who adopt technologies, lifestyles and worldviews "transitional" to posthumanity as "transhuman".This hypothesis would lay the intellectual groundwork for the British philosopher Max More to begin articulating the principles of transhumanism as a futurist philosophy in 1990 and organizing in California an intelligentsia that has since grown into the worldwide transhumanist movement.
The year 1990 is seen as a "fundamental shift" in human existence by the transhuman community, as the first gene therapy trial,[8] the first designer babies,[9] as well as the mind-augmenting World Wide Web all emerged in that year. In many ways, one could argue the conditions that will eventually lead to the Singularity were set in place by these events in 1990.[original research?]Influenced by seminal works of science fiction, the transhumanist vision of a transformed future humanity has attracted many supporters and detractors from a wide range of perspectives including philosophy and religion.Transhumanism has been characterized by one critic, Francis Fukuyama, as among the world's most dangerous ideas,to which Ronald Bailey countered that it is rather the "movement that epitomizes the most daring, courageous, imaginative and idealistic aspirations of humanity".
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transhumanism
What does it mean to be human? Biology has a simple answer: If your DNA is consistent with Homo sapiens, you are human — but we all know that humanity is a lot more complex and nuanced than that. Other schools of science might classify humans by their sociological or psychological behavior, but again we know that actually being human is more than just the sum of our thoughts and actions. You can also look at being human as a sliding scale. If you were to build a human from scratch, from the bottom up, at some point you cross the threshold into humanity — if you believe in evolution, at some point we ceased being a great ape and became human. Likewise, if you slowly remove parts from a human, you cross the threshold into inhumanity. Again, though, we run into the same problem: How do we codify, classify, and ratify what actually makes us human?Does adding empathy make us human? Does removing the desire to procreate make us inhuman? If I physically alter my brain to behave in a different, non-standard way, am I still human? If I have all my limbs removed and my head spliced onto a robot, am I still human? (See: Upgrade your ears: Elective auditory implants give you cyborg hearing.) At first glance these questions might sound inflammatory and hyperbolic, or perhaps surreal and sci-fi, but don’t be fooled: In the next decade, given the continued acceleration of computer technology and biomedicine, we will be forced to confront these questions and attempt to find some answers.
Transhumanism is a cultural and intellectual movement that believes we can, and should, improve the human condition through the use of advanced technologies. One of the core concepts in transhumanist thinking is life extension: Through genetic engineering, nanotech, cloning, and other emerging technologies, eternal life may soon be possible. Likewise, transhumanists are interested in the ever-increasing number of technologies that can boost our physical, intellectual, and psychological capabilities beyond what humans are naturally capable of (thus the term transhuman). Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), for example, which speeds up reaction times and learning speed by running a very weak electric current through your brain, has already been used by the US military to train snipers. On the more extreme side, transhumanism deals with the concepts of mind uploading (to a computer), and what happens when we finally craft a computer with greater-than-human intelligence (the technological singularity). (See: How to create a mind, or die trying.Beyond the obvious benefits of eternal life or superhuman strength, transhumanism also investigates the potential dangers and ethical pitfalls of human enhancement. In the case of life extension, if every human on Earth suddenly stopped dying, overpopulation would trigger a very rapid and very dramatic socioeconomic disaster. Unless we stopped giving birth to babies, of course, but that merely rips open another can of worms: Without birth and death, would society and humanity continue to grow and evolve, or would it stagnate, suffocated by the accumulated ego of intellectuals and demagogues who just will not die? Likewise, if only the rich have access to intelligence- and strength-boosting drugs and technologies, what would happen to society? Should everyone have the right to boost their intellect? Would society still operate smoothly if everyone had an IQ of 300 and five doctorate degrees? As you can see, things get complicated quickly when discussing transhumanist ideas — and life extension and augmented intelligence and strength are just the tip of the iceberg! This philosophical and ethical complexity stems from the fact that transhumanism is all about fusing humans with technology — and technology is advancing, improving, and breaking new ground very, very quickly. Humans have always used technology, of course — our ability to use tools and grasp concepts such as science and physics are what set us apart from other animals — but never has society been so intrinsically linked and underpinned by it. As we have seen in just the last few years, with the advent of the smartphone and ubiquitous high-speed mobile networks, just a handful of new technologies now have the power to completely change how we interact with the the world and people around us..Humans, on the other hand, and the civilizations that they build, move relatively slowly. It took us millions of years to discover language, and thousands more to discover medicine and the scientific method. In the few thousand years since, up until the last century or so, we doubled the human life span, but neurology and physiology were impenetrable black boxes. In just the last 100 years, we’ve doubled our life span again, created bionic eyes and powered exoskeletons, begun to understand how the human brain actually works, and started to make serious headway with boosting intellectual and physical prowess. We’ve already mentioned how tDCS is being used to boost cranial capacity, and as we’ve seen in recent years, sportspeople have definitely shown the efficacy of physical doping. An early television: It would've seemed incredibly alien to our grandparentsIt is due to this jarring juxtaposition — the historical slowness of human and societal evolution vs. the breakneck pace of modern technology — that many find transhumanism to be unpalatable. After all, as I’ve described it here, transhumanism is almost the very definition of unnatural. You’re quite within your rights to find transhumanism a bit, well, weird. And it is weird, don’t get me wrong — but so are most emerging technologies. Do you think that your great grandparents weren’t wigged out by the first television sets? Before it garnered the name “television,” one of its inventors gave it the rather spooky name of “distant electric vision.” Can you imagine the wariness in which passengers approached the first steam trains? Vast mechanical beasts that could pull hundreds of tons and moved far faster than the humble — but state-of-the-art — horse and carriage. The uneasiness that surround new, paradigm-shifting technologies isn’t new, and it has only been amplified by the exponential acceleration of technology that has occurred during our lifetime. If you were born 500 years ago, odds are that you wouldn’t experience a single societal-shifting technology in your lifetime — today, a 40 year old will have lived through the creation of the PC, the internet, the smartphone, and brain implants, to name just a few life-changing technologies. It is unsettling, to say the least, to have the rug repeatedly pulled out from under you, especially when it’s your livelihood at stake. Just think about how many industries and jobs have been obliterated or subsumed by the arrival of the digital computer, and it’s easy to see why we’re wary of transhumanist technologies that will change the very fabric of human civilization. The good news, though, is that humans are almost infinitely adaptable. While you or I might balk at the idea of a brain-computer interface that allows us to download our memories to a PC, and perhaps upload new memories a la The Matrix, our children — who can use smartphones at the age of 24 months, and communicate chiefly through digital means — will probably think nothing of it. For the children of tomorrow, living through a series of disruptive technologies that completely change their lives will be the norm. There might still be some resistance when I opt to have my head spliced onto a robotic exoskeleton, but within a generation children will be used to seeing Iron Seb saving people from car crashes and flying alongside airplanes. The fact of the matter is that transhumanism is just a modern term for an age-old phenomenon. We have been augmenting our humanity — our strength, our wisdom, our empathy — with tools since prehistory. We have always been spooked by technologies that seem unnatural or that cause us to act in inhuman ways — it’s simply human nature. That all changes with the children of today, however. To them, anything that isn’t computerized, digital, and touch-enabled seems unnatural. To them, the smartphone is already an extension of the brain; to them, mind uploading, bionic implants and augmentations, and powered exoskeletons will just be par for the course. To them, transhumanism will just seem like natural evolution — and anyone who doesn’t follow suit, just like those fuddy-duddies who still don’t have a smartphone, will seem thoroughly inhuman.

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and generally prefers critical thinking and evidence (rationalism, empiricism) over acceptance of dogma or superstition. The meaning of the term humanism has fluctuated according to the successive intellectual movements which have identified with it.Generally, however, humanism refers to a perspective that affirms some notion of human freedom and progress. In modern times, humanist movements are typically aligned with secularism, and today humanism typically refers to a non-theistic life stance centred on human agency and looking to science rather than revelation from a supernatural source to understand the world.[

During testing, the stability augmentation system required a lot of fine-tuning. Although the Arrow was not the first aircraft to use such a system, it was one of the first to use a three axes system that other aircraft did not and was consequently problematic. But, this was not the only advanced system developed for the Arrow. Avro’s engineers had created the first non-experimental fly-by-wire control system in an aircraft and a nvaigational computer that used real-time telemetry. The Arrow’s thin wings also nbecessitated the first 4,000 lb/in2 (28 MPa) hydraulic system to supply enough force to the control surfaces using small actuators and piping. The fly-by-wire system used the pilot’s inputs to activate a series of pressure-sensitive transducers in the control stick that sent the signal to an electronic control servo that operated the valves in the hydraulic system to move the various flight controls. This resulted in a lack of control feel so to recreate the mechanical sense, the same electronic control box partly responded to the hydraulic back-pressure fluctuations and triggered actuators in the stick, making it move slightly. Test pilots came to call this “artifical feel” and was an aviation first.
In this image, RL-203 shoots through the skies in southern Ontario. All of the flight tests were conducted at Malton airport. However, on 2 February 1959, a TCA Viscount passenger airplane crash-landed in Toronto, nessistating the test flight be diverted and landing at CFB Trenton. Note the wing fences extending from the dog-tooth to control airflow over the wing. The fences for swept-wing aircraft keep airflow from bleeding to the wingtips and creating a nose-down pitching moment, thus preventing the entire wing from stalling. Soviet aircraft designers employed this technique on several of their aircraft; Western examples are limited.

MSFC artist’s concept depicting an aft view of the Liquid Boost Module proposed to meet DoD launch requirements for missions originating from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Additionally, from the abstract of “SHUTTLE PERFORMANCE AUGMENTATION WITH THE TITAN LIQUID BOOST MODULE”, proposed by the Martin Marietta Corporation & Aerojet Liquid Rocket Company, and linked to below:
“The projected 24,000-pound payload lift capability for the baseline Space Shuttle, with anticipated orbiter and external tank weight savings programs implemented, will not meet the 32,000-pound payload requirements for the DoD Mission 4 from Vandenberg Air Force Base. NASA has selected the Titan Liquid Boost Module (LBM) to provide thrust augmentation during the boost phase sufficient to meet and provide margin for the defined Mission 4 requirements. The LBM will use Titan 34D Stage I engines and a cluster of four Titan derived 10-foot diameter tanks. The module will be attached to the aft end of the ET. This paper will provide a description of the LBM and discuss some of its advantages and capabilities.”

“…The requirement to increase the Western Test Range (WTR) payload capability by 8,000 pounds is to satisfy the Performance Reference Mission 4 requirement of 32,000 pounds deployed and 25,000 pounds retrieved at 150 NM circular and 98-degree inclination on a 4-man, 7-day mission. This requirement encompasses all known, projected civil and military needs during the current mission model period.”
Again, for shuttle purposes, WTR applies to VAFB.

My submission for biocup 2020! The theme is future for the first round. I believe humans will gradually upgrade their flesh into metal and machinery as we are unable to stave off climate change result in a much harser environment.
"Built for simple human augmentation. It is commonly used in the fields of construction as well as search and rescue."
I must have had this guy on my desk for almost a year. It started as an alt build of 42020, but I added a bit more.
