The Audi TT is a 2-door production sports car made by Audi since 1998, and currently in its fourth generation. For each of its three generations, the TT has been available as a 2+2 coupé and as a two-seater roadster employing consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34). As a result of this platform-sharing, the Audi TT has identical powertrain and suspension layouts as its related platform-mates; including a front-mounted transversely oriented engine, front-wheel drive or quattro four-wheel drive system, and fully independent front suspension using MacPherson struts. The first two generations were assembled by the Audi subsidiary Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Győr, Hungary, using bodyshells manufactured and painted at Audi's Ingolstadt plant

Proving that it isn't just loose and playworn diecasts that are to be found in charity shops is this pristine mint and boxed Realtoy Audi TT kindly donated to my collection. Loft clear outs, children outgrowing their toys and even collectors downsizing their collections means all sorts can end up in a charity shop though as of yet not Huddersfield it seems! Grrrrrrrr
Oddly not licensed despite its supreme accuracy and attention to detail, this mid to late 2000's example clearly shows why Realtoy were ahead of the game for offering Matchbox beating models at much cheaper prices. Their demise from the U.K.market is both inexplicable as well as disappointing!

Even with its reduction in detailing and quality, this Realtoy Audi TT still holds its head up high in terms of realism and quality. Its quite an old casting now but still very much relevant of a stylish car commonly seen on our roads. Mint and boxed.

It's a composite image where flash and 'painting with light' was used. The red background is due to the brake-lights being on throughout the 30 second exposure.
