In the absence of any patrons to bemuse with my library ways on this cold and wet November night (although my ride home was a marvel of smoothly hissing tyres, reflections of lights and creaking from my leathern carapace as I pedalled sedately home along the river path) I took to drawing as I answered sporadic enquiries on that crossword-puzzle-helpline that is the Reference Library telephone.

Goodbye Water Cooler
I went into work today. It was the first time since March 12th or 13th. I needed to meet the Culligan Man to take away our water cooler. I decided to keep our surplus water and Dan was taking it since he has a cooler than can use the bottles.
Last night was the last of the late night gigs in Ohio for the foreseeable future as the Governor has initiated a state-wide curfew and rule to close bars at 10pm.
My day was interrupted by a luncheon in the atrium just outside my window. I'm never sure which is more obnoxious: the events themselves or the set up and take down periods. I'm inclind to think it's the events.
It's very strange to have to work while people are sipping water and enjoying their meals only a few inches away.

James and his daughter H. eat delicious pickled okra at our company luncheon on Wednesday.
She's 2, and had never had them before, but ate probably 4 of them! It was so cute.
We had to move most of the balloons to the conference room so I could actually get to my desk to work. Jeremiah and Eric (who certainly were innocent) were roped into helping me shuttle balloons.
Since im still evolving weekly with my weight, I thought I would take a quick snapshot. Insane... :D So tiny.
I wish this were in focus. I made this for work. It says "Please be advised that the elevator is not a romping ground for playful japes" and is signed Management. It didn't stay up very long.
