The old man is a day labourer. He can't walk without stick. But he still makes bamboo made stuffs for his living. His grandson always accompanies him. Grandfather was telling a story to his grandson while he was working. It's the bond of Two Generations.

work is slow this time of the year, I'm not complaining though :)

Working on the snow sculptures at Marina Park for Family Day. Unfortunately for them the weather is not cooperating. Today, was 4C, some of the sculptures are starting to melt. I think tomorrow is supposed to be 7C.

This is going to be 2 polar bears hugging. There is a small clay sculpture replica on the snow block

Auf dem Foto sind zwei Männer und eine Frau zu sehen. Sie befinden sich in einem Hof, der von Gebäudeteilen umstellt ist. Die Sonne scheint von links tiefstehend in den Hof und wirft den Schatten eines entlaubten Baumes an die linke Gebäudemauer.

Der ältere der zwei Männer steht in einer Grube und legt am linken Rand der Grube eine Decke aus. Der jüngere Mann (Vater in der Bilderserie) steht rechts gebückt am Rand der Grube, die Hände an einem vor ihm liegenden Korb. Er schaut leicht nach oben in Richtung des älteren Mannes in der Grube. Mittig steht die Frau ebenfalls vor einem vor ihr liegenden Korb. Sie sieht nach links in einen Raum außerhalb des Bildes.

Die Frau und der ältere Mann sind in Arbeitskleidung. Der gebückte Mann ist in Uniform mit Seitengewehr und Mütze. Am Kragen hat er den Knopf des Gefreiten. Auf seiner Schulterklappe ist eine 170 zu sehen. Der Soldat könnte auf Grund der Nummer auf seiner Schulterklappe zum 9. Badischen Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 170 (Garnison Offenburg, III. Bataillon Donaueschingen) gehören.

In der Grube und den Körben befinden sich pflanzliche Häckselstücke. Da sich der Mann danach bückt und greift, wirkt es, als ob die Häcksel aus der Grube geholt wurden.

Der Hof wirkt eng. Es sind Tür und Fensteröffnungen zu sehen. Hinter der Frau führt eine Holztreppe zu einem Türeingang in einer oberen Etage. Über dem Geländer vor der Tür sind grobere Stoffe oder Häute gelegt. Links über der Tür ist ein Schatten an der Wand zu sehen und deutet ein Dachvorsprung an. Ebenfalls hinter der Frau auf mittlerer Höhe ein Holzgitter, hinter dem sich undefinierbare strohartige Kugeln zeigen.
