Sham attack by Jerry Westerweel

The sham attack was part of the pig feast that was organized especially for us. We were on our way to the pig feast location in the village of Ibiroma when suddenly we were 'ambushed' by this group of about 12 warriors in traditional war outfit. Screaming and yelling they mimicked throwing their 6 m (18 ft) long spears at us and shooting arrows from their bows. They retreated about 10 m (30 ft) and started to 'sing' and wiggle their hips, trying to make us -the enemy- afraid. Then followed another attack and another retreat. This continued for about five times.
