Our first attack against Goldendale! This isn't exactly the shot I wanted but it'll work. During warm ups, our girls hold the balls and serve at our opponents, all at the same time!

Attack Nihon-Ichi is an event in Misato-machi (a little town south of me) where people do a timed race up the largest store staircase in Japan. The staircase itself is 3333 steps, and participants in the race can choose the amount of time they think that they'll complete the climb up and down. The person who finishes closest to their time wins.
Oh and you can wear costumes and such as you race up the stairs. It was really fun!
I did in in about 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Songkran 2012 Bangkok - Songkran Festival, April 12-15, is the traditional Thai New Year. Families and friends gather to celebrate by visiting temples, sprinkling water on Buddha images in reverence, and sprinkling water on each other's hands as an act of wishing good luck. But nowadays Songkran festival is better known for its splashing water madness.

When taking my previously uploaded picture of Sanders vehicle 206 at Hempstead I took several shots as the bus approached. I didn’t realise at the time, but when deciding which one to use I noticed a strange ball like shape in the sky heading towards a bird. Although they are a bit out of focus I have enlarged and uploaded three of them and they appear to show an unsuccessful attack by a large bird of prey.

What I wouldn't give to see the little man attack another hose. Hundreds of dollars worth of plants have died in this yard because of our Little Hose Attacker!
It should have been my first indication that he was not well. I could casually stroll over to the faucet, turn on the hose and water the plants. About 4-5 months now.
We are about 15 hours since chemotherapy. He "spit up" many times last night. Every time he went to drink water. He urinated frequently. It wasn't a good night, even with that "suped up Benadryl" shot he had.
I just gave him his morning medicines and patiently awaiting the improvement in his condition.
His breathing is gentler. He's still grogy. But, only 15 hours so far.
His eyes became bloodshot over the past couple of days. Other than the breathing, that is the only thing that "looks" wrong. I really don't like the bloodshot eyes.
We need to see real improvement today. I am about to call the doctors office with what I am sure will be the first report of the day.
That beautiful body with all those rock-hard muscles. He loved life so much, he made those around him love it too! I guess that's just a Bully Thing!
If we can't see that, we will let him go.

This is an interesting movie, and up to par with 1950s quick make, quick-releases SF movies (they were plenty in the shadow of the cold war).
The story involves a husband, a rich wife that sees a UFO which noone believes, great looking snappy eyed girlfriend (Playboy playmate) and a flying saucer that makes the rich wife huge taking revenge on her husband.
Special effects are only at the end of the film (they were difficult and expensive) and the acting capabilities pretty mundane. The Sheriff that shouldn't have been is a case in point.
All in all a good example of this type of movies. Many followed and preceeded it; all included some type of monster, filmed from below to indicate greatness; none of these however matches "The day the earth stood still."
