Schloss Egg steht in der Gemeinde Bernried im Landkreis Deggendorf und wurde im 11. Jahrhundert im Tal des Mettenbachs als Wasserburg angelegt. Es wird erstmals im Jahr 1103 als Sitz des Thiemo de Ekke erwähnt. (Wikipedia)

Was sofort besonders ins Auge sticht sind die Fahrstuhltürme an dem jeweils 2 halbrundgeformte Fahrstühle aus Glas fahren. Was auf diesem Bild natürlich nicht sichtbar ist das die Türme an jeder Ecke des Atriums stehen.
Ausserdem sind zwischen den Grünanlagen noch Moderne Kunstobjekte plaziert.
Insgesamt ein extrem beindrückendes stück Architektur.

I went to a meetup in San Francisco a few weeks back and found this beautiful stained glass ceiling. Do you know, or can you guess where this is? The title gives a hint.
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW long exposure, then merged the two images.

UPDATE 2015-12-26: I took this shot when I went to an open house event at the Internet Archive in San Francisco. They purchased an old church and converted it into a workplace and datacenter. Quite unique. This is the glass ceiling of the main hall upstairs. The same hall also serves as a datacenter.

Even though naturally ventilated and exposed to natural light at a number of points, the interior spaces felt dark and bland due to the expansive use of concrete. The internal circulation didn't work as well as intended as spaces lacked definition and purpose.
Here's the interior of the amazing Burj Al Arab in the UAE. This was very hard to make, actually... it's a vertirama, (instead of a pano) — you would think it would be easy to line up, but it's incredibly difficult!
