der himmel über berlin war öfters blau und manchmal grau... es war schön berlin wieder neu zu entdecken, es hat sich auch einiges seit meinen letzten besuch vor über 10 jahren geändert...

The Grand Hayatt Hotel in the Jin Mao Tower is one of the tallest in the world. The Hotel occupies floors 53 to 87 in the building. This is a shot of its ultra-famous barrel-vaulted atrium of the Grand Hayatt Hotel Shanghai.
The sun rises behind the atrium of the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Museum of Natural Science, Houston.
Behind an anonymous building facade, American architect Frank Gehry covered the atrium with a splendid morphing glass and titanium roof.
...sowie angenehme Kühle herrscht in diesem Lichthof, den der Architekt Peter Behrens zwischen 1914 und 1917 im Zuge des Baus einer Fabrikanlage für die Nationale Automobil-Gesellschaft (NAG) in Berlin-Oberschöneweide errichtete.
Heute kann man in diesem Gebäude studieren, z.B. angewandte Kunst.

The Library Rotterdam here (1983, van den Broek&Bakema) is a land mark. Both the building and the institution. It attracts some 2.1 million visitors per year. On 24 000 m² floor space the library's collection includes some 700,000 books. There are 9 floors and ample facilities to access the collection digitally. And it offers hundreds of workspaces to sit down and have an in depth look in the books.

In inside of this awe inspiring Cathedral in the heart of Ottawa, gives rise to respect and reverence. Quiet and colorful, the architecture is amazing.
This is Ottawa's largest and oldest, still standing Catholic Church and it is also the seat of the Archbishop
The Atrium at 60 Wall Street, one of those public/private places. According to a recent article in the New York Times the interior is scheduled for a redo - updating it from its 1980's splendor.
