This wig (right) and this Indian roach on bald cap (left) were worn by Robert DeNiro for the role of Travis Bickle in the 1976 film, Taxi Driver. In front are an atomizer, glue and stubble pieces. Dick Smith designed all of the wigs and hairpieces used with this makeup. After the bald cap was fitted to Robert DeNiro's head and the roach (a roll of hair brushed up from the forehead and temple) glued on, an adhesive was applied to the bare areas of the bald cap. Finely chopped hair was then sprayed on to simulate stubble.
The Museum of the Moving Image, located at 36-01 35 Avenue in Astoria, promotes the public understanding and appreciation of the art, history, technique and technology of film, television, and digital media by collecting, preserving, and providing access to moving-image related artifacts via multimedia exhibitions and educational programming. Originally established in 1977 as the Astoria Motion Picture and Television Center Foundation, opened on September 10, 1988, in the former East Coast home as Paramount Pictures as the first museum in the United States that was evoted solely to the art, history and technology of film, television and video. Following a $67 million expansion by architect Thomas Lesser, starting in March 2008, the museum doubled its size and reopened in January 2011.
How to body paint with an air brush:
Airbrush Series 5 of 8
STEP FIVE
On healthy skin the paint may have a dewy appearance before it dries naturally.
The coverage provided by the airbrush technique can be near opaque black, but can also be applied lightly at a low PSI for a sheer finish and for that shadowing effect.
Because the Digital Photography Medium can expose more detail in the makeup, an overly matte foundation can appear oily or dry and reveal skin textures (including fine lines and wrinkles on the face).
In those cases a setting powder can be applied and it will also help uphold the design.

it (=12 watts), filled with 100% VG unflavored liquid at about 20mg/mL I
make myself.
For after-dinner vapes, with coffee, etc., I use a regular atomizer and
direct drip flavors (currently mixing Midnight Express and Adam's
Cinn-apple from vaporcaststore.com).

STEP THREE
The Pounds per Square Inch (PSI) pressure emanating on the skin from the airbrush should not exceed 20 PSI.
I use 3 to 12 PSi on the face and around the eyes; up to 15 PSI for face painting or special F/X makeup for a sheer finish and between 15 to 20 PSI for body applications.

Materials: Big frosted glass marble, clarinet keys, electric motor parts, perfume atomizer, green freshwater pearl, vintage brass lamp finial, rifle scope adjustment dial, clock key, vintage brass drawer pull, vintage fishing reel side plate, metal wings from the hobby shop tumbled in rock tumbler, small bearing, brass electric switch parts, glass beads, nuts, bolts, steam, and aether.
Note: The big marble is suspended with a loose connection under the head of the perfume atomizer allowing it to pivot and swing "to and fro", so I guess it's a bit kinetic.

Also on Carolyn's birthday, our e-cigarette supplies came. It was time to order about $~80 in replacement partss for our e-cigarettes: 2 new USB passthroughs, 5 new atomizers, 2 new batteries, and 5mL of Clove-flavored e-juice because it was like $2.
We should be set for awhile, at least another year or two. (Though we may run out of our initial $30 e-juice investmenet made so many years ago.)
Our old USB passthroughs kind of died (after close to 2 years, within days of each other). Carolyn's just stopped working and kept flashing the green light at her. When we tried it in Clint's computer, the computer's power supply instantly shut off. That sent it straight, instantly to the trash. Not worth losing a computer over nicotine! Then Clint's USB passthrough decided to start smoking itself one day when we were watching TV. Crazy stuff! Could have burned down our house! Our new ones have the button that you need to push in order to start it, rather than a sensor that senses when you inhale. Clint figured a button/switch is far less likely to fail than a sensor. Clint was wrong. Clint's already started trying to smoke itself again, to the point of melting some of the plastic cartridge attached (loss:25 cents). Now we try to keep them unplugged when not in use. Ridiculous. But still, USB pass-throughs are soooooooooooooo much better than batteries. I'm also sold on having to push the button; it makes vaping much more versatile.
USB passthroughs, e-cigarette, e-cigarette atomizers, e-cigarette batteries, e-cigarette drops, ejuice, liquid nicotine.

The Vaporesso Tarot Pro Mod is a 160-watt box-mod with lots of cool features. It has variable wattage, temperature control, and bypass modes, as well as a few interesting customizable modes. The new additions are Customized Curvature of Temperature and Customized Curvature of Wattage. These two modes allow vapers to program the ramp patterns of temperature and wattage, respectively. Rounding things out is a Smart VW mod, which suggests an ideal wattage based on the resistance of the atomizer. What do you ladies and gentlemen think of the new Tarot Pro Mod?
