Nagasaki Atomic Bombing Hypocentre

There are some times that you intend to do things.. and never quite.

Today I was on my way to pick up a little kitten and discovered that this Oregon landmark of doom was set to be Imploded in 2 days. I had to stop and snap this.

I didn't waste time adjusting my shape or editing this photo, except to fix those lovely SL bumps (my bald head was especially afflicted). I wanted to show the detail on both the skin and the body wrap. Those are wicked veins on the skin, aren't they? I used a little Windlight magic to make them show up better. The result is the skin is a tad darker than it really is.

Skin: Redgrave

Body Wrap: Atomic Bambi (I added an extra sprig over the left breast to keep the picture PG. The wrap also has a head piece, but I didn't want to cover any of the face.)

原爆ドーム

I went with my friend to Hiroshima and one of the first things we did was

go to the Atomic Bomb Dome. It's quite tragic to look at, and just looking

at it can certainly make one speechless. This is why I chose this for

nonverbal, because you do not need to speak or describe this when seeing

it- any description of it is quite obvious.

A model of two of the pieces of equipment used by the scientists developing the atomic bombs. Bradbury Science Museum, Los Alamos, New Mexico. The museum is dedicated to the history of the Manhattan Project, the research for which was done at the nearby laboratory.
