The Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall stands 160 meters from the hypocenter of the atomic bomb explosion over Hiroshima. It was left as a reminder of that day.

Atomic punk is an all Steel Bubbletop by Aaron Grote, it began as the back part of a Plymouth Savoy, and has been sold not too long ago, as far as I know it gets a respray after it went up in flames at some point. The damage could be fixed, but the candy apple needs to be sprayed again.

So the story behind this is that Iris and I camped right next to this art piece. Iris thought it said "Atomic Cumball Machine" and made me feel bad about "not getting the joke" and even went as far as to write this on a note to her dad directing him to find us. Then, as I was biking by it one day, I re-read the sign and it clearly said gumball. We asked the guy who created it and he had this to say, "Some people have penises on their mind - they look at it at they see a dong. Or a bong. People have dongs and bongs on their mind."
