Holga with expired (09/2006) Kodak Max 400 35mm. Scanned negative.
The orange spot is from a leak on the back of the Holga 35mm adapter - really big light gaps on the cover they'd used over the film counter window space. It's been fixed since with model glue and black nail polish.
This one obviously saw a lot of light on the back of the camera.

Make & Model: 1953 GM TDM-5108
Operator: Atomic Energy Commission
Headquarters: Washington DC
Location: CREHST Museum (Richland WA)
Notes: The coach with the bumper stickers is owned by the CREHST Museum, the other coach is on loan from the owner. The curbside mirror located behind the door was a custom option. While the bus operator would have to do a "shoulder check" to see the curbside mirror, the visibility of it is improved by the setback of the "chat seat" (front row seat closest to the bus operator).
named for SS Savannah, was the first nuclear-powered cargo-passenger ship. Built in the late 1950s at a cost of $46.9 million, including a $28.3 million nuclear reactor and fuel core, funded by United States government agencies, Savannah was a demonstration project for the potential use of nuclear energy.[5] Launched on 21 July 1959, she was in service between 1962 and 1972 as one of only four nuclear-powered cargo ships ever built. Savannah has been moored at Pier 13 of the Canton Marine Terminal in Baltimore, Maryland since 2008.

I just restored this lamp. What a pain in the A**. It was completely painted black so I stripped the paint off an sanded it. The original scheme was a black base with white painted metal shades. Painting these metal perforated shades is tricky because the paint fills in the holes so I decided to keep it au natural. I did the base in Heywood Wakefield Wheat. I think it turned out pretty good.

at hiroshima peace memorial museum. there are so many people, not only japanese but also foreginers. amazingly, a few people survived under the bomb explosion. i don' think i'll get such lucky, if i encounter this kind of disaster.

"It's like the day has turned to rust
Like every dreams been sealed shut
Like every door is closed before we've gotten out
As bullets rip the air in two from house to house
We are all that we are, so terribly sorry..
The moon you've felt, it has no side
That's dark like hell, or safe from light
Just blown apart, by wind from stars
With white dust tides to pull on ours
I see the crowds their giving way
For some, they're better off that day
The bombs blew off the shells
Their glowing red at first
The less there is to feel each night upon the earth"
This is a very old Robbiati Atomic label. Although the black paint has all worn away the writing is still clearly legible. This is because the lettering was stamped/embossed into the steel label. Later machines with this same label did not have this embossed lettering.
