Pong was one of the first games that was available to a home market on the Atari 2600 back in 1976. It was a graphically simple game that used geometric squares to simulate a game of ping-pong. It consisted of a white square as the ball, two white rectangles as paddles, and a a white border and scoreboard. Although it was simple in concept, the game would be the launchpad for Atari and the home console market.
(Atari 1981) Tempest was, and is, a fascinating game. It's hard to find it now, and since I did find one at the Pinfest I wanted to include a quick video of gameplay.
To the purists who might think this should be for pinball only, please allow some room the classic for video games that can only be found in a few places such as shows like Pinfest.
