Pong was one of the first games that was available to a home market on the Atari 2600 back in 1976. It was a graphically simple game that used geometric squares to simulate a game of ping-pong. It consisted of a white square as the ball, two white rectangles as paddles, and a a white border and scoreboard. Although it was simple in concept, the game would be the launchpad for Atari and the home console market.
