A Via Láctea é uma galáxia espiral, da qual o Sistema Solar faz parte. Vista da Terra, aparece como uma faixa brilhante e difusa que circunda toda a esfera celeste, recortada por nuvens moleculares que lhe conferem um intrincado aspecto irregular e recortado por nuvens moleculares que lhe conferem um intrincado aspecto irregular e recortado. Sua visibilidade é severamente comprometida pela poluição luminosa. Com poucas exceções, todos os objetos visíveis a olho nu pertencem a esta galáxia.
Com um raio de 52.850 anos luz é um dos lugares mais caóticos do espaço, Sua idade estimada é de mais de treze bilhões de anos, período no qual passou por várias fases evolutivas até atingir sua forma atual.
No bojo central, que possui forma alongada, há uma grande concentração de estrelas, sendo que o exato centro da galáxia abriga o buraco negro supermassivo Sagitário A*. Ao seu redor estende-se o disco galáctico, formado por estrelas dos mais diversos tipos, nebulosas e poeira interestelar, dentre outros.

Finally a nice photo of the milky way. Getting up at 3am and taking photos was a weird activity, it's not something I'd do all the time. Unfortunatley the lack of sleep that night kinda made me a bit sleep depraved.
There is so much to make better next time. First of all the clouds, I don't like them at all in this shot, they are blurry. Else I really want to work on photo stacking (this shot was my first try on stacking)
I've loved the look of time captured skies since the first time I saw one and thought it was faked. Unfortunately, since I live in a fairly populated area, it's not really an option at home. I came upon a chance just recently and took advantage of it. This is my first startrails attempt.
Last night i tried star photography. The boat is lighted with iphone 5 flashflight. 7D + sigma 18-50mm 2.8

Some nights when I'm driving home, I just can't keep myself from staring at the stars in the sky. Sometimes I pull off somewhere to take photos and enjoy them, other times I manage to make it home and set up my tripod in my backyard. You couldn't move me to the city for anything.

Der Adlernebel im Messier-Katalog unter der Bezeichnung M 16 zu finden, auch als IC 4703 bezeichnet.
Ist ein offener Sternhaufen der in einem Nebelgebiet eingebettet ist und in dessen Mitte die Säulen der Schöpfung zu sehen sind.

Der Affenkopf Nebel (Monkey Head Nebula) oder auch NGC 2174 genannt ist eines der größeren Objekte am Nachthimmel, er erscheint ca. so groß wie der Vollmond und befindet sich im Sternbild Orion.
