40 Points about Wheat grass & its Nutritional Values
1. Wheatgrass Juice is one of the best sources of living chlorophyll available.
2. Chlorophyll is the first product of light and, therefore, contains more light energy than any other element.
3. Wheatgrass juice is a crude chlorophyll and can be taken orally and as a colon implant without toxic side effects.
4. Chlorophyll is the basis of all plant life.
5. Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. The brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly-oxygenated environment.
6. Chlorophyll is anti-bacterial and can be used inside and outside the body as a healer.
7. Dr. Bernard Jensen says that it only takes minutes to digest wheat grass juice and uses up very little body energy.
8. Science has proven that chlorophyll arrests growth and development of unfriendly bacteria.
9. Chlorophyll (wheatgrass) rebuilds the bloodstream. Studies of various animals have shown chlorophyll to be free of any toxic reaction. The red cell count was returned to normal within 4 to 5 days of the administration of chlorophyll, even in those animals which were known to be extremely anemic or low in red cell count.
10. Farmers in the Midwest who have sterile cows and bulls put them on wheat grass to restore fertility. (The high magnesium content in chlorophyll builds enzymes that restore the sex hormones.)
11. Chlorophyll can be extracted from many plants, but wheatgrass is superior because it has been found to have over 100 elements needed by man. If grown in organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known 102 minerals from the soil.
12. Wheatgrass has what is called the grass-juice factor, which has been shown to keep herbivorous animals alive indefinitely.
13. Dr. Ann Wigmore and institutes based on her teachings has been helping people get well from chronic disorders for 30 years using wheatgrass. 14. Liquid chlorophyll gets into the tissues, refines them and makes them over.
15. Wheatgrass Juice is a superior detoxification agent compared to carrot juice and other fruits and vegetables. Dr Earp-Thomas, associate of Ann Wigmore, says that 15 pounds of Wheatgrass is the equivalent of 350 pounds of carrot, lettuce, celery, and so forth.
16. Liquid chlorophyll washes drug deposits from the body.
17. Chlorophyll neutralizes toxins in the body.
18. Chlorophyll helps purify the liver.
19. Chlorophyll improves blood sugar problems.
20. In the American Journal of Surgery (1940), Benjamin Gruskin, M.D. recommends chlorophyll for its antiseptic benefits. The article suggests the following clinical uses for chlorophyll: to clear up foul smelling odors, neutralize Strep infections, heal wounds, hasten skin grafting, cure chronic sinusitis, overcome chronic inner-ear inflammation and infection, reduce varicose veins and heal leg ulcers, eliminate impetigo and other scabby eruptions, heal rectal sores, successfully treat inflammation of the uterine cervix, get rid of parasitic vaginal infections, reduce typhoid fever, and cure advanced pyorrhea in many cases.
21. Wheatgrass Juice cures acne and even help to remove scars after it has been ingested for seven to eight months. The diet must be improved at the same time.
22. Wheatgrass juice acts as a detergent in the body and is used as a body deodorant.
23. A small amount of wheatgrass juice in the human diet helps prevents tooth decay.
24. Wheatgrass juice held in the mouth for 5 minutes will help eliminate toothaches. It pulls poisons from the gums.
25. Gargle Wheat grass Juice for a sore throat.
26. Drink Wheatgrass Juice for skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis.
27. Wheat grass Juice keeps the hair from graying.
28. Pyorrhea of the mouth: lay pulp of wheatgrass soaked in juice on diseased area in mouth or chew wheat grass, spitting out the pulp.
29. By taking Wheat grass Juice, one may feel a difference in strength, endurance, health, and spirituality, and experience a sense of well-being.
30. Wheatgrass juice improves the digestion.
31. Wheat grass juice is high in enzymes.
32. Wheatgrass juice is an excellent skin cleanser and can be absorbed through the skin for nutrition. Pour green juice over your body in a tub of warm water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.
33. Wheatgrass implants (enemas) are great for healing and detoxifying the colon walls. The implants also heal and cleanse the internal organs. After an enema, wait 20 minutes, then implant 4 ounces of wheatgrass juice. Retain for 20 minutes.
34. Wheatgrass juice is great for constipation and keeping the bowels open. It is high in magnesium.
35. Dr. Birscher, a research scientist, called chlorophyll "concentrated sun power." He said, "chlorophyll increases the function of the heart, affects the vascular system, the intestines, the uterus, and the lungs."
36. According to Dr. Birscher, nature uses chlorophyll (wheatgrass) as a body cleanser, rebuilder, and neutralizer of toxins.
37. Wheat grass juice can dissolve the scars that are formed in the lungs from breathing acid gasses. The effect of carbon monoxide is minimized since chlorophyll increases hemoglobin production.
38. Wheatgrass Juice reduces high blood pressure and enhances the capillaries.
39. Wheat grass Juice can remove heavy metals from the body.
40. Wheatgrass juice is great for blood disorders of all kinds

In a race to find a solution to their downright lies and skulduggery, VW engineers are trying anything to get their cars to run cleanly... the self destruct mode doing a good job in this car, just another few million to go chaps!
Rather bizarrely the female of the Beetle (a convertible) is an asthmatic. I guess she doesn't have the top down very often then.
Volkswagen aren't having a very good time at the moment, but then they only have themselves to blame. Filthy cars, dubious business and environmental morals.
On Friday, 18 September 2015, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said beginning in 2008 the automaker illegally installed ECU software determined by the EPA to be a "defeat device", in violation of the Clean Air Act designed to circumvent environmental regulations on emissions of NOx pollution by diesel engined 2009-2015 model year Volkswagen and Audi cars sold in the US. The software detects when the cars were being subjected to emissions testing, and then fully enables emission controls to pass. During normal driving conditions, emission control activity was reduced for other benefits, resulting in the release of as much as 40 times more pollution than allowed by law.
Volkswagen have hired Kirkland & Ellis law firm for their defence, the same firm that defended BP during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
This link provides an excellent explanation via a video of the issue and the level of deceit Volkwagen managers and engineers (yes, a whole team of them would have known) have gone to in an attempt to give the engines better MPG at the cost of pollution: www.vox.com/2015/9/21/9365667/volkswagen-clean-diesel-rec...
Volkswagen couldn't balance performance with low pollution.
So it cheated and is now paying the price.

Whilst in Kyabram, we spent an afternoon walking around Horseshoe Bend and Moama Wharf. Living in Melbourne, I didn't realise how close this part of the NSW border was to me, and it's so beautiful.
You may notice in some of these images a dark mark on the tree trunks. This marks the level of the water as it rose up over the immensely tall river banks during the catastrophic floods last year. According to local authorities, the levels rose 94.94 metres (from sea level)! It is truly humbling to see.
One of the off-tracks led to a marsh that had hundreds of white cranes wading through the green plant beds - mesmerising!
On the way back I stopped to watch as dozens of lorikeets, galahs, and cockatoos flew overhead and filled the tree canopy high above.
Then I heard a toot and was flooded with emotion - was it a famous steamer?! A little known geeky fact about me is that I have had a long fascination with Murray River steamboats but have never seen one - this was my opportunity! In the cold evening air, with asthmatic lungs filled with bronchitis, I ran as fast as I could to get back to the Moama Wharf. From atop my perch there I took so many images of an actual steamer as it chugged along down the Murray River. Glorious!

Joe Ranft (Animation)
Inducted 2006
Telling stories in one form or another was Joe Ranft's lifelong passion. Born in 1960 in Pasadena, he grew up in Whittier, where his early interests included movies, drawing, performing in school plays, and doing sleight-of-hand magic.
Joe was widely respected as one of the top story artists in the animation industry. He was one of seven writers nominated for an Academy Award® for best original screenplay for Toy Story, but Ranft spent most of his time drawing storyboards for animated films.
"I don't know if people really understand what I do," Joe said in a 1998 interview. "When I say that I do story for animation, they say, 'Oh, you're a writer!' If I tell them I'm kind of a writer, but I draw, they get this puzzled look. But when I say, 'I'm the voice of Heimlich,' the light bulb goes on and they say, 'Oh, great!'"
(Ranft got the role as Heimlich in A Bug's Life after John Lasseter noticed that his wife, Nancy, laughed harder at Ranft's temporary dialogue during production than she did at the actor hired to voice the caterpillar.)
Ranft entered the character animation program at California Institute of the Arts in the fall of 1978. As a student, he was inspired by Bill Peet's storyboards from the 1946 Disney feature Song of the South.
Joe left CalArts for The Walt Disney Studios in 1980, where he quickly established a reputation as an exceptional story artist, contributing to Oliver & Company (1988), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Beauty and the Beast (1991), The Lion King (1994) and Fantasia/2000. He oversaw the story on The Rescuers Down Under (1990). While at Disney, he had become friends with John Lasseter, who became the top creative executive at Pixar Animation Studios.
Ranft moved to Pixar to serve as story supervisor on Lasseter's Toy Story, the first computer-animated feature. His understanding of story structure and his talent for creating emotionally complex characters that audiences cared about won him a place in the core group of artists at Pixar.
"Joe was really a major part of Pixar's soul," says Pete Docter, director of Monsters, Inc. "He was one of the key players who made all the films what they are."
Ranft served as story supervisor on Toy Story 2 (1999) and provided the voice for Wheezy the asthmatic penguin. He was credited with additional story material for Monsters, Inc. (2001) and oversaw the story on Lasseter's Cars (2006).
Joe Ranft was killed in an automobile accident on August 16, 2005. A longtime resident of Marin County, he is survived by his wife, Su, their children, Jordan and Sophia-and a legendary storytelling legacy.
"Joe had a great passion for telling stories, and he told them better than anyone," John Lasseter says. "He was funny, poignant, original, and he had an infallible sense for how to structure a story."
"He created stories and lived his life by two philosophies, one of which hung on his office door: THE JOURNEY IS THE REWARD. The other was: TRUST THE PROCESS," recalls fellow story artist Brenda Chapman. "He was so passionate, so in love with storytelling."
Ranft himself humbly reflected, "I have this notion that there's a story there that wants to be told, and you're just trying to find out what it is. And you go from trying to lead it to listening and letting it lead you."

wikipedia Young roots can be eaten like a vegetable (with a peppery flavor), or the shoots can be eaten as a salad. The whole plant was used to prepare an infusion with astringent and sedative properties. It was considered to be effective in healing asthmatic coughs, gastro-intestinal disorders, whooping cough and as a sedative pain-killer. Poultices containing O. biennis were at one time used to ease bruises and speed wound healing. One of the common names for Oenothera, "Kings cureall", reflects the wide range of healing powers ascribed to this plant, although it should be noted that its efficacy for these purposes has not been demonstrated in clinical trials.
The mature seeds contain approximately 7-10% gamma-linolenic acid, a fatty acid. The oil also contains around 70% linoleic acid.[14] The O. biennis seed oil is used to reduce the pains of premenstrual stress syndrome. Gamma-linolenic acid also shows promise against breast cancer.[15] Some side effects of using evening primrose oil are itching, sore throat and severe or extreme gassiness.
Gupta is not on your side.
The photo is of my medicine drawer. I get a 3 month supply each time I place an order for refills, & that's what's seen above. The medications are all ones commonly used by seniors who can afford them - there is no exotic med in there. I've been asthmatic all of my life, so some of the meds are those used to provide complete relief, but even those are common, because many seniors use them for COPD & other aggravating or serious lung disease.
The retail value of the drawer's contents - at, say, Wal-Mart (a place I boycott) - is $4,581. Multiply that by 4 to get the annual cost.
I receive Medicare A & B - the whole suite of federal Medicare services. Since relying on Medicare alone is a sure path to bankruptcy for many seniors, I buy a Medicare supplemental policy from a (get this) non-profit insurance provider. Each year my cost for this policy is adjusted to cover all anticipated costs to the supplemental provider. Five years ago I paid less than $250/month each for myself & my wife, who since died. This year I'm paying $649/month just to cover me.
In short, my medical coverage, which is as good as anyone can get in the U.S., is costing me, including tax contributions to Medicare, costs of other items & about $800/year in co-pays for prescriptions, over $15,100/year. The exact same services & medications are available in any other industrialized nation for less than $4,000/year.
What, for instance, is the added expense for overheads accrued because we do not have a single-payer health system. Well, it is 30% of the total. That 30% provides for nothing of any medical value whatsoever to anyone. In my case, 30% of 15k = $5,000 paid by me for nothing every year. A single-payer system would cut the percentage to 3% or less.
Big Pharma tells us that it must charge immense fees for our medicines because research expenses are enormous, blah blah. Well, actually, most of the research is done in taxpayer supported public universities, & Big Pharma's expenses break down this way: 12% for research, 25% for advertising, balance of expenses for overheads, wages, executive pay & bonuses, & a small amount for taxes. What about profit? Big Pharma averages 20% post-tax net profit annually. How many deep pocket lobbyists are employed by Big Pharma in Washington, DC? 735 at last known count - more than one for every legislator in the beltway.
Thanks for reading along, & please continue below,

Paul Krugman is a Nobel laureate economist, NY Times columnist, Princeton University professor & one of the most important voices for political & economic sanity & salvation in America. He was writing the word "liar" to describe George W. Bush for 2 years before the editors of The NYT quit excising it & let it go to print. He also blogs in The NYT frequently, & his comment below is an example. As those of us previously concluded after examining the exchanges between filmmaker Michael Moore & CNN's chief medical commentator, Sanjay Gupta, MD, on CNN's Larry King show, Krugman here confirms that Moore is simply telling the truth, & Gupta is behaving very badly, just as Moore repeatedly explains to him in the video. Moreover, the documents Moore refers to all exist, & copies of them are publicly available, including the internal CNN paper which Moore describes. Dr. Gupta is now Obama's nominee for America's Surgeon General, in which position he will have a powerful voice in the making of health policy & be the manager of the National Health Service's 6,000 physicians. I urge everyone to watch him carefully during the video. While constantly aiming dismissive facial expressions at almost everything Moore says, & at Moore himself, Gupta repeatedly says he agrees with Moore, & then smarmily in the next breath shows that he agrees with little or nothing, & throws out phony facts & hackneyed arguments that he presents with ingratiating dismissive expressions that add up to self-admiring arrogance. Moore, an enormously brighter, more humane, humorous & socially concerned & apparently responsible fellow, calmly dismantles the nonsense. A high moment occurs when Gupta presents the ridiculous clincher used by people in the service of the health insurance corporations, which is, of course: America cannot afford health care for everyone. Moore calmly & correctly explains that private insurance bookkeeping expenses, profits & costs imposed by Big Pharma make American health care cost more than twice as much per person than it does in any other industrialized nation ... & Americans die years younger & more horribly than do citizens in any of those countries.
OK, on to Krugman, & then the video:

The trouble with Sanjay Gupta
The Conscience of a Liberal
By Paul Krugman
(his NYT blog, not his column in OpEd)
So apparently Obama plans to appoint CNN’s Sanjay Gupta as Surgeon General. I don’t have a problem with Gupta’s qualifications. But I do remember his mugging of Michael Moore over Sicko. You don’t have to like Moore or his film; but Gupta specifically claimed that Moore “fudged his facts”, when the truth was that on every one of the allegedly fudged facts, Moore was actually right and CNN was wrong.
What bothered me about the incident was that it was what Digby would call Village behavior: Moore is an outsider, he’s uncouth, so he gets smeared as unreliable even though he actually got it right. It’s sort of a minor-league version of the way people who pointed out in real time that Bush was misleading us into war are to this day considered less “serious” than people who waited until it was fashionable to reach that conclusion. And appointing Gupta now, although it’s a small thing, is just another example of the lack of accountability that always seems to be the rule when you get things wrong in a socially acceptable way.
Update: Many commenters don’t seem to get the point. Gupta didn’t say “Michael Moore is an annoying blowhard”; he didn’t say “We question his interpretation of the evidence”; he said he “fudged the facts”. In other words, he accused Moore of lying. That’s a very strong accusation, which had better be backed by solid evidence. Instead, we had CNN misreading a number from Moore; CNN objecting to Moore using a projected health care spending number for 2007 instead of an actual number for 2005 (and the projection was right, by the way); CNN accusing Moore of not showing a number that was in fact right there in the movie. And Gupta did not apologize, except for the misread number.

I'm an Intensive Care Nurse, so I work on the front-line in the NHS, so you could call me more of an expert than your average punter.
My friends and colleagues in Intensive Care are exhausted. Whilst in some ways we are more prepared than last time in early spring, we are still human beings. Being an ICU nurse takes a long time to learn, it's not just something you can walk into as it's highly specialised. We were already understaffed before the pandemic and now it's worse.
I am sick of reading posts from conspiracy nuts who have no expertise whatsoever. It's an insult to all of us who are working so hard to save lives.
I am sick of seeing people still mixing households, visiting friends and ignoring advice, and people not wearing face masks in shops. Just because YOU might not suffer badly, you can still pass Covid onto someone who is vulnerable. There are only finite ICU beds and we're full. YOU, personally might not need a bed if you have Covid, but what if you have a bad car crash? Or one of your relatives arrests? What if your elderly relatives get Covid or you or you loved ones is asthmatic? What if you're 50, obese and have diabetes and get Covid?
Me and my colleagues wear full PPE with a tight FFP3 mask on for 12 hours, so most of you can wear one for a short period in a shop. It's just an inconvenience. Yes, I am aware of medical exceptions. I finished nights this morning and my face is sore and itchy from the mask and I'm dehydrated and tired.
Stop being selfish, it's not just about you. We HAVE to flatten the curve, we have to slow things down, people are dying. This is not just 'flu.
Oh, and we still have the seasonal winter 'flu patients to face as well, where are they going to go?
To my friends who violate the rules by mixing (obviously, apart from carers), please stop. Your behaviour and attitude is part of the problem.
Please don't thank me, it's my job. Just listen.

"Without a love of humankind there is no love of God.".
..Asch Sholem novelist 1880-1957
I come from a liberal Shia parentage ,my parents were uneducated , migrants from Lucknow, never forced religion down our throats.
My education I am indebted to Akthar Kashmiri who enrolled me at Private European School a Methodist primary run by White women of the British Raj.
My school fees in the ealy 50s was Rs 50 a princely amount that my dad a couturier paid..
My earliest Koranic teacher was a lame Sunni man who enjoyed beating me on my knuckles to make me recite the scriptures by heart or a like parrot.
He came from the Sunni mosque close to the Chabad or Nariman House that was in the new recently..target of terrorism at Colaba.
He would disappear during Ramzan and than come back to teach me and my sister and beating our knuckles all over again, he used a thin bamboo cane that stung like a bee.
The staple diet beyond home was the Church , the sacristy, the priests the altar boys.
as I was now enrolled by Akthar Kashmiri to Holy Name High School Convent street..
early 60s .
But it was a very fluid relationship. There was no effort by the priests to make me a Roman Catholic, though my girl friends were all Catholics.
I was a Muslim and that is the way I was bought up by my late parents.
At home we had a Mahrashtrian lady who took care of us her name was Aiee which means mother and she was a good mother , as my mother was sickly given to asthmatic attacks, Aiee bought up as on a diet of Marathi and the culture of Maharashtra. So it was Gudi Padwa , Ganesh Visarjan, Holi and Diwali ..
Though my mom forbid us to play with colors..this was the only thing she considered unIslamic..she was quite right because today the fedayeen s color the soul of Humanity with blood sprinklers.
We shifted from Wodehouse Road in the early 60s to our present ancestral home at Strand Cinema ..Colaba.
It was here in the early 70s that my friend Fazal Khan a Pathan , introduced me to Sufism, he bought me to the Dargah Bahuddin Shah Baba Marines Lines.
I visited this Shrine every Thursdays but at the same time going to Hazrat Abbas s Dargah at Dongri was a must too.
Fazal took me to Bismillah Shah Babas Dargah at VT , and the secluded one at RC Church in a military encampment , which just completed its Urus and locals are not allowed I am told because of security reasons.
Than came 17 years of alcohol I stopped all forms of religious activity.
I began going to Chor Bazar where I met Fahad Pahan, the son of the late Pesh Imam of Maqdoom Shah Baba Dargah , I had given up booze, I had reformed, he introduced me to Sakib the florist who invited me to shoot his Sandal at Mahim and the Rafaee acts of body piercing by Firoze Rafaee ..exponent of the Rafaee Art.
Through Fahad I met the Chancawalli Rafaees , late Sikandarwali Baba, who took me under his wings, thus began my journey shooting the Rafaees from one Holy Shrine to another..
I looked like a Bawa myself , I walked barefeet, than again through Sakib and Fahad I met Sarfaraz a Murid of Peersaab Fakhru Miya Hijra No6 Ajmer .
Sarfraz was my childhood friend Salims son, Salim was also Fazal Khans best friend in the old days.
He introduced me to the Peersaab Fahru Miya at Juhu ..this was the start of a Sufi journey..
I had never been to Ajmer all my life, Peersaab also took me into his wings and I began visiting Ajmer earnestly ..later on it was the Hijda attraction and their life styles that I began documenting.
One day a few years back Late Sikandar Wali Baba asked me to come to Haji Malang, I came here during Moharam, and my soul got attracted to this place, my early pictures of Haji Malang the hijdas , are here on Flickr archives, but I was not that crazy about Hijdas those days.
And I came back to Haji Malang last year with my mentor Dr Glenn Losack MD ..
This year has been bad for me , too many upheavals , marriages of my children, financial crunch, loss of my G9 Canon camera , and unending misery..till date.
I was not going to Haji Malang , Sakib called me , I had invitations from the Ketkar brothers too..my soul yearned for Haji Malang but I was crippled to Mumbai..
And than on 10 Feb 2009 I took a decision, I reached Haji Malang the Abode Of Peace .
I returned on 11 Feb 2009 , last year I made two back to back trips, but I am not young any more I tire out, my diabetic condition, my fluctuating blood sugar, and my discontinuation of morning walks at Carter Road.
So this is the magic of Haji Malang, in this series that I unfold here at Flickr, I have placed 102 files on the Uploader , this is a 4 GB Card , there is another one about 1.50GB all shot at Haji Malang.
I wont be posting the Hijda pictures today.I give myself a Hijda Break.
In a few hours from now I will head to town to shoot the Chehlum procession, and most probably participate in it too..
I only have one camera the defective Nikon D80 , so I use it to the best of my ability.
I carry the 80-200 lens but never have the opportunity to shoot with it, its a heavy one too..so I shall not take it along this time.
Yes its true I shall miss Dr Glenn Losack MD who shot the Chehlum and my head cutting called Kama Zani ..
Dr Glenn Losack snatched the dagger from my hand to cut his head I stopped him just in time ..I want him to be the Brooklyn Jew that he is.. its enough for me..it was his respect for my religiosity and his human pain he wanted to share with me and I am crying as I write this..we must convert from one human form to another human form to evolve as good human beings , this is a single greatest religiosity , without Man there is no religion at all..only a corrupt clergy calling the shots and dividing us all into fragments of human bombs..
We both are victims of a fucked life on earth Dr Losack MD and me , we both shoot Pain ..demystifying it to give you a glance of life at our end.

There are guys that from the foothills reach the top of Haji Malang Shrine in one hour, but for me 58 years old, diabetic asthmatic , it was pretty tough it took me close to three hours to reach the top and I trekked the mountain barefeet.
I dont take my diabetic medicines at all when I undertake such a photographic pilgrimage. I had bare minimum clothes a single camera body two lenses and my SB 800 flash.
At the mountain top the first day I bathed in chilly waters the next day I paid Rs 15 for a small pail of hot water in a community public washroom..cum bath called Hamam.
Haji Malang is a life time experience and Indian Sufism and Sunnism is a very thin demarcation line..I have no issue with any stream of thought I shoot humanity, and the spirit of my nation and Haji Malang is shore of a bank that touches everyone beyond caste color or creed..
Most of all I shoot Hindu Muslim amity..I see ugliness of thought I dont shoot it..my job is to shoot positivity of my cultural identity ..and its secular spirit on the soul of Humanity.
I did a lot of kaif,, both at Haji Malang Shrine and at my favorite hot spot the Holy Shrine of Sultan Shah Baba where the Khadims are Hindus too.
Rohan Patil the Khadim of Sultan Shah Baba was always taking care of my needs and at Haji Malang close to the Dargah where I stayed in Kumart and Abhijits lodge I did not have to pay a single cent , such is the hospitality and love all because I shoot Babas Darbar and his loved ones.
And the Haji Malang Trust instead of appreciating my documentary on the Urus of Baba or simply being grateful , was trying to knock me down with a biased bent of mind of one of their narrow minded trust member.
I come here on my own , I shoot reality the hardships the poor sleeping on the roads just to be showered by Malang Babas bounty, I met people that had walked barefeet from Ulhasnagar , I met so many people , I met people who bought their children and offered their humility to Malang Baba.
I owe nothing to anybody my camera my vision belongs to me it depends how you interpret what I shot..because i shoot Haji Malang Dargh not with my eyes but yours too..
The beggars the malishwalas, the roadside gemstone sellers all wanting boons from Malang Baba.. I asked for nothing, ..I am going through the worst period of my life I was mostly crying when I did the Kaif but I am sure the Lord will provide.
I have till date never entered the sanctum of any Holy Saint here or even Ajmer Sharif as I am a sinner in all respects and am scared to let my shadow fall at the Holy Saints tomb.. so I shoot from the courtyard and outer surroundings,..
My rafaees friends from Chancawalli have splintered and moved away.. the rafaee Chowk of Haji Malang missed Handi and Sikandar Wali Baba.both dead and gone.
There is a Siddi Chowk too but I did not shoot the Dhamal..
I shot the area in and around Sultan Shah Bab this morning..where I do not encounter narrow mindedness and bigotry.. for the hijras Sultan Shah Baba is also a great provider.
Many of my hijra friends like Heena Kamini were not there for this Urus.
And I shot Raveena , Laxmi Narayan Tripathi my hijra guru an actress hijra called Megha my friend Nisha , Naina and Mona the Child eunuch and Nandini the child eunuch.
I shot Babita and an old Hijra Fakir Naik from Amritsar called Madhu..
I shot the enigmatic cross dressers of Mumbai, known as CD's I shot a member sect of Ardh Nari Nareshwars ..called Sada Suhagin , they wear ladys clothes but are Muslims in identity they are married to God they say, and are also known as Musa Suhagins.
The person I met is a Suhagin has 9 children.
Onions are actually very healthy. Consumption has been linked to reducing blood pressure and increasing lung function for asthmatics. It has been reported that onions prevent blood clots and stomach cancer. Bacteria cannot be sucked from the air and must come in direct contact with the surface of the onion. The old wives tale of onions and bacteria might have some truth. Setting plates of sliced onions all over the house might repel the bacteria away due of the smell and chemical compounds in the onion but science has not proved this.
Another of my 'crap cars' series, and this one was certainly that. The Ambassador was based on the Princess predecessor - a car with more design flaws than a clockwork television set. Somehow they managed to make this even worse. A gearbox located in the sump using thin engine oil. Hydrolastic suspension which left green puddles everywhere as it deflated. A lousy rattly asthmatic engine. I doubt there's a single one left in existence.

Oh dear lord, so much dust. Making everyone walk about with their best filthy hobo faces on. Making my snot come out black. Making asthmatics shit their pants. So much dust.
Other than that, I pretty much had the best time at this festival. That probably correlates with how shitty my photos are. Also, I couldn’t get my camera past security on Day 3, so I got no photos of Phoenix or The Strokes. Mega sadface.
Anyway. Hurricane is so remote that there’s limited concept of time and space outside the festival. There aren’t any... normal barriers, so you can feel towards everything – people, situations, bands, music, especially music – much more strongly than you would under normal circumstances. *perhaps that’s the passive pot cloud… huh.* It’s true though. And when people figure out that you’re not local, they’re insanely friendly and welcoming, and the whole thing is ridiculously fun. Also they have flushing toilets and running water. I want to go again.
This is Guinevere the Ragdoll
who arrived on Feb 14th 2012.
She is 3 months old.
We didn't arrive home until 10pm as we got stuck in the London rush hour traffic.
it took us nearly 6 hours to arrive home but Guinevere ( Guini for short ) was very good.
She cried for a while and then fell asleep on my knee the rest of the way.
The introductions with Shogi were worse than expected with plenty of growling spitting screaming and caterwalling! This went on for 4 days and has ow subsided to the odd spit from Guini and the odd "leave me alone" Growl from Shogi
The first 2 nights Greg slept with Shogi downstairs on the sofa and I slept with Guini for reasurance and also to keep them apart.
Guini is quite a large kitten but Shogi weighs 4.5 kilo so we were worried about fights.
Shogi didn't eat much for a couple of days and wouldn't play.
We've been playing alot to distract them from each other and also been placing Shogi outside for short breaks in his run.
Today we saw them touch noses !!!!
Shogi is starting to join in with play. He's also given her a good sniff!
When Guini escapes up the climbing frame where Shogi can't reach we are finding he is looking for her now.
After a nearly a week they have now accepted each other .
Shogi is now showing signs of wanting to play with her but not quite taken the step.
Ps Sorry for the delay with the photos.
Thank you for all your kind messages and good wishes, I know you've been waiting eagerly.
Greg came down with a terrible cold which I caught and due to being an asthmatic I ended up in hospital briefly with a chest infection so I've been resting up as I'm still struggling breathing.
On the mend though now.
Taking the tablets.
Inhaler in one hand.......... Cat toy in the other........!!! Oh boy

“Lost Youth”
Final to me doesn’t just refer or mean the Final Major Project of my Photography course, new chapters are opening for me whilst others are closing. 2013 marks the end of my more than somewhat eventful teenage years and childhood. You could say this project has been a “leap of faith” as I have had to accept my life so far and the experiences I lost due to my health complaints in recent years, which is why I decided that my Final Major Project should contain a highly personal element, which tells a story only I can tell. I decided to use self-portraiture as a medium to illustrate the tale of my health issues in a series of interactive images- something which until recently I haven’t entirely felt comfortable facing or discussing about.
“Descent” – the act of passing from a higher degree or state to a lower one.
Literally my first major health scare is depicted in the start of descent. The image depicts myself portraying a characterisation of myself at age five, when I was first diagnosed as asthmatic, and contracted pneumonia. I distinctly recall an out of body experience as if I was flying and had wings like an angel a result of hallucinations caused by pneumonia. I wanted to convey a childlike innocence to this image as well as a dreamy effect.

This proyect born as an answer to the quarantine, as an Asthmatic I'm really worried and forced to be inside home. I'm hiperactive too so been in this situation is a kind of confinement.
I always liked the idea of mix photography with diferents kind of visual arts. What I wanted was to get something tridimesional in a 2d image and sugest something microscopic or totally opossed like an abstract scape to the mental closure.

Today in We're Here!, the theme is "taking it back" and we're to take photos of our shoes. Well, here's mine. Current temp is -18° Fahrenheit with a wind chill of -24°. My truck won't start (it sounds like an asthmatic robot trying to cough up a hairball). I didn't have to go anywhere today, you're just supposed to start your vehicles a bit.
Anyway, my feet were cold, my legs were cold, and I managed to get back inside before I died.
Urbex is often creepy. But it's a lot creepier when you decide to explore on a foggy day! Brrr!
Today, we are exploring a former sanatorium and preventorium for asthmatic children from 4 yeard old to 15 yeard old, closed in 1995. I didn't manage to know why it closed (very few information on the net).
The main building is a 2 storey building. A pool and a stable are close to it.
Shot with Canon EOS 5D Mk. I + Tamron SP AF Aspherical Di LD IF 17-35 f/2.8-4 @17mm

This antique Russian accordion might look pretty but it really needs some care and attention. It currently sounds like an asthmatic whale trapped in a submarine...
Aussi appelée Belle de Nuit. Trouvée sur le Chemin de Mille-Isles. Young roots can be eaten like a vegetable (with a peppery flavor), or the shoots can be eaten as a salad. The mature seeds contain approximately 7-10% gamma-linolenic acid, a rare essential fatty acid. The oil also contains around 70% linoleic acid[11]. The O. biennis seed oil is used to reduce the pains of premenstrual stress syndrome. Gamma-linolenic acid also shows promise against breast cancer.[12]
