Our 100% Organic Beeswax Candles are great for cleaning the air when your family is sick but also gives off a pleasant aroma of honey. Beeswax candles give off negative ions that remove dust, dirt, odors, viruses, mold, and other pollutants from the air. Beeswax candles are great for asthmatics or anyone who is allergic or sensitive to scents. They are Non carcinogenic and Nontoxic and they don’t give off soot like other candles do. Beeswax is the only wax that exists in nature. Which means there are no processing chemicals in beeswax. Beeswax candles have a high melting point which means they have a much longer burning time than conventional wax candles

Bought some new gravel, put in my spare pump to eliminate the stagnant deadzone in the bottom left of the tank, bought a new pump that has more pumping capacity that an asthmatic mouse and re-hooked up the distribution block to two new bubblestones, one at each end of the tank.

Next up is a camera that can photograph fish at low lux. They are actually guppies.

1: It's not perfect, but I finally have a job I like since it involves what I like to do.

2: I need to re-focus on writing fiction. Big time. I've missed it. But I've been doing a bit more lately, and it feels good!

3: I need to sell my novel. Only I can get it done. I'm working on it.

4: I'm grateful for all my Flickr friends, and for the fact that taking a chance on photography is what brought you all into my life.

5: I've posted a LOT of photos in the past year and three months since joing Flickr, haven't I? Eesh. Sorry about the overload.

6: I wish it were warmer right now, like it's supposed to be; it would be nicer to walk around.

7: I need to get back to downtown Chicago. It's been too long since my last visit.

8: I learned so many new things over the past year; new trees, new insects, new birds. Again, I have photography to thank for that. And my undying curiosity.

9: I'm asthmatic and, therefore, hoping for the best with this H1N1 / Swine flu hitting all over the place.

10: I'm going to miss baseball until next spring, now that my team's out of the playoffs. ;)

There's plenty more, and this list seems kind of random, but that's the point of this Tagged thing, right?

Breath

It's strange that words are so inadequate. Yet, like the asthmatic struggling for breath, so the lover must struggle for words. T. S. Eliot Published by Vogue 10-24-13 www.vogue.it/en/photovogue/Portfolio/b31ba590-03f0-4d77-a...

Filipendula ulmaria Also known as Bridewort and Queen Of The Meadow, Pride of the Meadow, Meadow-Wort, Meadow Queen, Lady of the Meadow, Dollof, Meadsweet, and Meadwort

The therapeutic values of meadowsweet are very much like those of aspirin. However, unlike aspirin, meadowsweet is safe and does not have any adverse side affects. Meadowsweet has been used for colds, respiratory problems, acid indigestion, peptic ulcers, joint problems, skin diseases, and diarrhea.

The Druids (a priest of an ancient Celtic religion practiced in Britain, Ireland and Gaul until the people of those areas were converted to Christianity) considered meadowsweet to be one of their most blessed aromatic plants. Despite the Druids’ opinion regarding the plant, it is still unheard of whether they used the herb as a medicine. Nevertheless, meadowsweet has been an ancient folk medication in most regions of Europe. Referring to meadowsweet, in 1652, naturalist Nicholas Culpepper had written in his much-valued medical text that “it helps in the speedy recovery from cholic (bile acid) disorders and removes the instability and constant change in the stomach’.

It has no known side effects although those with sensitivity to salicylates and asthmatics may take care.
