In the summer GoPro released a dog harness called 'the fetch'. I picked it up expecting to catch some dock jumping videos, but sadly our weather got colder so the dock jumping dog-POV pictures will have to wait until next summer.
In the mean time, I was waiting for snow to catch some fun play shots in the back yard. Eva was unimpressed with the harness. Bruno, however, did not seem to care. He easily walked and ran around in it, even taking a nap within five minutes of putting it on.
In both of these shots you can see Eva waiting by the back door, while my hairy assistant walks around and takes a nap.

During a recent Pizza shoot for a local restaurant, I got assistant Steph to stand in for a lighting check.
Ok for the Strobists there's just one big square soft box off to the right of Steph half a metre off the table and pointing down 45º. The minimal fill light came from a big slab of white acrylic just off shot to her left.

Middle sister Mary finally takes center stage in this charming and clever sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. While happy in the company of books and her piano, Mary has grown tired of her role as the dutiful daughter. When the Bennet sisters gather at the home of Lizzy and Darcy for the holidays, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and perhaps even love. Blending modern wit and period style, this enchanting romantic comedy promises to delight Austen aficionados and newcomers alike.
