She put no stock in dreams. To her they were just a television left on in another room.

Bella Grace, our 10-year-old Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, accompanies me just about everywhere I go on my photo shoots. I took this shot of her sitting in the back seat of my car at the end of a full afternoon of picture taking. Her look told me she was ready to go home for dinner.
Playing with light, with the delightful assistance of my smallest photographer's assistant, Azizi the Lesser Tenrec.
I can't ask for better photographer assistant than my dog Gambit. We explore remote places and he always finds the way back.
This was my first cat, Misty. She loved to "help" with paperwork. No matter how many documents I had out at a time, she always managed to sit on the one I needed most! If she got bored, she would chew the end of my pen while I was trying to write. Happy Caturday!
In bad weather he likes to sit as close to me as possible. If I am processing photos, Simkha will certainly sit on the desk next to the computer.
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments! It's greatly appreciated!
Tasting the scent? Charlie —the photographer's assistant— sits on Indian Rock.

Here's your gun, rookie. Try not to kill too many people on your first day.
Do you even know who I am? I am Loki, son of Odin, ruler of Hell...
Yey, yes, and I am Superman, eating cryptonite for breakfeast.
But...
Mister Brickman said you're my new assistant and you better do what he says.
(mumbling) I need to tell Batman of this looney. Fictional characters all over, as if this is some kind of cartoon.

It appears this Northern Mockingbird is the school's new Assistant Principal. Or it is illegally parked.
Niqui gets a little bored when I'm taking photos and finds various ways of amusing herself .. usually by getting in my shots!!

This marmoset decided to help us photographing its family. The cutest assistant we ever had.

And: I don't like Comment-Codes, "awards", or such groups. They will be deleted. Explanation at my profile. Also please don't post pictures in the commenting-area. You could post them much better in your own photo stream. Your own words will mean much more to me than a universal-text. ;-D

One more shot of one spectacular encounter with a praying mantis in our backyard.....
my parents dog, every time i crawl down on all fours, trying to take shots of the flowers etc, he comes along, bumps into me, looks into the camera, and just lies down in wot i find like an interesting spot for macros... so, finally caught him with the daisies - and i didnt get to shoot any daisies... never mind :)
and he aint scared when i use the small canon camera.... making it easier for me to take some shots of him :)
