Blinding Revelation today - End of Term on Friday - 2 unstarted assignments due. This was taken a couple of minutes before midnight at the end of assignment number one... 1000 words down, 2000 to go
This is a test shot for Assignment four of the Strobist boot camp. It wasn't suposed to be a test but we got kicked out of the car park before I could finish the shot.
This is a composite of about eight frames combines in Photoshop. All the light comes from a single 580 mkII triggered with a PW.
I've got the re-shoot on sunday so let me know how this could be improved, coments very welcome.

In my original idea for the slip assignment, I changed the word into an acronym, so it would stand for "Suddenly Losing Inner Peace", which is what you do when you slip!
Each word would then have a picture linked to it, but I didn't have time to complete the task with new photos, so I found old ones from the archives.
This photo represents "Losing".
Several Boundaries here. Shot from University Bridge (boundary between Westlake and U District) includes footage of where the Lake Washington Ship Canal meets Lake Union) and the SHIP CANAL BRIDGE (I-5) which is a huge boundary in Seattle.

Practice Day #7: My first assignment from PPSOP Food Photography Course was to shoot a simple object and experimenting with light. I went to the market and bought some jajanan pasar. This pink kue mangkok was my first try out.
Write a short paragraph describing how you consider young people choose their friends, spouse, and place to live.
Discordant lines, this just looks so wrong. I think the eye is forced to travel unnaturally from bottom right towards the top and left, and all the lines in the foreground and background just serve to distract and confuse. And where is a subject...?
The only thing going for it is the completely natural sepia tones, thanks to corrosion and drought in South Australia.
