Much better - I managed to get Maria in place once I had done the setup shots with Louis (the gorilla) and fired a few off in relatively quick succession. Bit blurred - didn't check properly, but the "halo" is nicely in evidence. (I didn't like the texture of the plastic table top, so didn't use that here)
While I went home over the weekend I was able to link up with good friend of mines and go to the lake to take some pictures. This is what I came up with after it all.
I really enjoyed these. shooting people in their natural element with my wife walking with a book. I really liked the composition and the rule of thirds in this one.
Evan brought this one over to me and explained that he picked it up in Mexico and that it was a fingerpainting. The artist painted the whole thing in 20 minutes with his fingers and signed his name with his nail.
I love the abstractness of this picture. I went down to the pond on campus and I loved how the fountain reflected off the water and how the ripple effect added to the photo and the reflection. I think the black and white effect really adds to the photo. I wish the ripples were a little more calm but it still looks good in my opinion
