A spray of water in the air

I tried to capture more of the road. The human eye was able to see further down the road then my camera lens was able to capture.

Assignment 2 was shooting something white.

This run-down mill is about 25 miles north of my house out in the middle of fields. The love that this barn is still standing, with very few damages, even though it hasn't been used in years.

I loved the details of the old metal with the bolts. I took it at a lower angle so the details would pop out. It was a cloudy day which made a great background for this old rusty tractor.

Assignment 2: Red.

Streetside in Portland, OR. I'm an automotive ... enthusiast and when I thought about the Red assignment one of the first things to pop into my head were the art deco taillights fitted to the BMW 5 series for a few years. I knew it would be pretty challenging to find these lights so I discarded the idea early on.

But, walking around Portland I ran across a 5 idling near the curb with its lights on. My only regret in this photo is not crouching down a bit more. There's only so much I could do so to keep the rear-view mirror from starting to merge with the car above, but I getting a little bit lower would have made the red come out a bit more.
