The microphone looks a lot better assembled. The wind screen presses into the front of the housing, followed by the BT-EM172 capsule. The craft foam plug is slit to go around the cable, and is shoved up behind the microphone. I sealed the back with hot glue, but I think any future housings will use a metal plug with screws.
I'm sure the housing and windscreen color the sound of the mic to some degree, but I've already broken one EM172 capsule, and don't want to repeat it with another.

it was a struggle and it's not perfect. far from. I want against the instructions and painted the sealer before I assembled it and that was a big mistake. the parts fits perfect when the parts haven't gotten expanded by paint.
Assembled AuroraWatchNet magnetometer sensor unit. The lower PCB is a Calunium v2.0 microcontroller board, the upper PCB is the FLC100 shield. This contains a Ciseco XRF radio module (blue PCB). The FLC100 magnetometer is located on a remote PCB (not shown).

The National Assembly (French Assemblée Nationale ) is the lower house of the French Parliament.
New battery assembled, the tightening bolt fot terminal + needs the turned around for this battery type (Trane 56219 SMF / 12VB65 SMF). The cover for the terminal + also needs so cutting to adjust right, also the tightening beam (still original at the picture) needs some modification, since it is covering the battery´s status "window".
Uusi akku paikallaan, plusnavan kiristyspultti piti kääntää ympäri, kun käytössä on akku jossa on upotetut navat. Plusnavan suojakuorta pitää myös leikata hieman, nyt se ei mene navan upotukseen kunnolla. Myös akun kiinnitystankoa pitää hieman muokata (kuvassa alkupäräinen kiinni), koska tanko peittää akun tarkistussilmän.
This crane needed another crane to be assembled. Pretty amazing things.
This also raises the important question, how was the first crane every constructed if there were no cranes before that? Huh? Huh?
I could really need a wider lens for this. I might, just might go for the Olympus 9-18 after all. I have never had a lens that wide and it would be very liberating to cover an insanely lot of things in the frame.
