8-year-old schoolgirls (guess, their parents also) artwork on the space exploration theme.
Of course, Yuri Gagarin 1961 also at the set, but out of frame.
3 Frames Stitched and very difficult to get right because of the numerous horizontal and vertical lines. I have messed around with these 3 images numerous times and failed on previous attempts to stitch them together, but this morning I gave it one more go. The art work is by Betty Woodman, and influenced by recent discoveries in Egypt and the tomb of Tutankhamun
This is one from many artworks that can be seen on the ship. This is also the last image of a memorable cruise, thank you so much for your beautiful comments, specially on the last days. In the coming days, I will be back with flowers, butterflies, landscapes and seascapes.

The "Railway Triangle" in Gloucester is former railway land (bounded on three sides by railway lines,strangely enough !!) now occupied by a large Morrisons store and many other businesses.To commemorate the areas former use,we have this artwork by the supermarket - made from old railway track and sleepers.
