Even by Pilsen's liberal standards of creative architecture and land usage, this one is pushing the envelope. Part garden, art project, mural and back-alley converge to create...whatever you think it may be.

I’m not certain that this is finished, but I rather like it as it is. This is a new addition to the Radiator project. The titles of the works in this project (all paintings of my daughter Temma) begin with the letter R. In this case the title is the French word meaning “to give back”. It also references the French artist Odilon Redon whose mystical world (that is, of his art) seems like a place Temma might hang out.

P is for Paris. I have decided as an extra project, I will post an alphabet photo each day of a place I have been - my own rule is that it must be a photo that I have already published, untouched from the original. Each photo is one I "like" or have a connection to, regardless of "quality". Today is the Moulin Rouge in Paris at night.

Artistic goal:

Making a true story of human relationships in 2018, using pictorial forms of photography.

Location:

The Docking Strait of the Danube Row in the Danube River, above Esztergom, is located between the 1721nd and 1722nd kilometers, and about 80 meters from the coast.

N 47 ° 46,469 'E 18 ° 42,395' 101

It was the division and distribution unit of Dorogi Coal Mines/Hungary/Europe.

It had a 6-kilometer long ropeway connected to the mine.

From the ropes on the ropeway, the carbon dust was stored in the pallet, and it was transferred to the ships by a slide.

With the Danube Rope Track, from 1927 to 1963, Carbon was transported by waterway.

In '63 the cableway was demolished, since then the Carrier has been out of use, it is empty.

Since 2009 it has been an industrial monument.

Today it is only a lonely industrial monument in the Danube ...

A PAINTING

Long-limbed against the languid lake—luminous

on the fleeting space that looms

Innocence & Experience—numinous

Lyca—reborn … reformed

She peers into Huron’s pools cradled in etched limestone—

blue-green in lunar-grey; gentian-sprinkled; cedar-fragranced—

and calls forth her creatures from her vast domain

invisible, inaudible where Imagination has vanished, banished

not here—where Imagination reigns!

Crimson sun-hat a crown and shimmering gold and mahogany curls

rest sweetly against her face and wilt to her shoulders…

her eyes pools for great Huron’s reflections

and as she reaches—slowly, slightly, cupped-palm extended—sunbathed

her frog, princefrog, leapfrog bounds forward at her command

and i paint bluewords, greenwords, aqua, violet—

spectrumwords the colours of pomegranates and grapes

fairies and empresses—

Theodora lifted into God’s great azure apron—timeless

[eep ©] - I wrote this about Theo watching her at Lake Huron almost 7 years ago

...my 16 year old granddaughter's work for her "wild" end-of-term art project for the daVinci program she was chosen for. This is the first part of Theodora's triptych - you can see her working on the 2nd and 3rd in the image 2 before this one...

Art project; people holding objects that mean something to them. Phil with his iPod.

"Castles intrigue me like churches and old houses. One suspects

treasures hidden deep within them, like the deepest desires and

dreams enclosed in your head. I think of the sonnet by

Willem Kloos that begins thus:

I am a God in the deepest of my thoughts

And in the soul's centre I sit on my throne"

My wife and I did an art project; The Ameland Challenge. (Ameland being a Dutch island, hosting art expositions each November.) We reacted on each others work. She painted on mdf panels (30x30 cm), I built Lego (32x32 studs).

Another one of my images, and the next segment of the description of the Amanda Williams exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center:

"Colors are extracted from buildings and products that are frequent fixtures in Black American urban landscapes nationwide - currency exchanges, red Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Ultra Sheen grease.

This project imagines artful ways of constructing new narratives about zero-value landscapes, allowing such places to shed their identity of victimhood and instead embrace the role of protagonists..."

Photo shooting with Sophia Vogel for her great art project "with and without". I like the idea of this concept and it was a nice relaxed shooting.

She is still looking for models until end of May. So check out her work and drop her a line! ;)
