i'm mixing up pans for some location sketching. here i'm mixing various shades of browns and dark grays. i try to mix the pans from scratch when I can. I'm using Burnt Sienna, Ultra Marine Blue, and red.

 

I have mostly been painting with Schminke but have recently started Daniel Smith, which I feel is superior.

Unusually pregnant painting.. asking for straight decisions about subtle expression. Not there yet...

For The River Bank by Kij Johnson, from Small Beer Press - a sequel to The Wind in the Willows.

Exposition en cours à la galerie R.PONS, 108 rue de la Folie-Mélicourt dans le 11ème. J'ai été surprise par le croisement de la sculpture inspirée de la Venus de Milo et Marianne, les illustrations murales et le design présent qui permet de voir l'exposition de face, diagonale, au-dessus, en dessous. A voir absolument!

 

R.PONS gallery 108 rue de la Folie-Méricourt, Paris 11th, is organizing a surprising exhibition. This exhibition mixed, Marianne / Venus de Milo figures, wall illustrations, and desgin inspiration. As a result, you can see the exhibition from the bottom, the top, diagonal... A must to see!
