Home made Onion Bread with a hint of garlic and a dash of creamy horseradish sauce. (Not sure about the garlic but the horseradish sauce gives it a lovely aftertaste). This was the first recipe, time to experiment with other variations now. Mouthwatering with your favourite soup.

A Legacy of Pottery Artistry: The art of pottery in Fes dates back to medieval times, with the city's artisans perfecting the craft through generations. Passed down from master to apprentice, the techniques and knowledge have been preserved, allowing the tradition to flourish to this day. Fes pottery is deeply rooted in Moroccan culture, reflecting the influence of Berber, Arab, and Andalusian artistic traditions, bringing the clay to life.
I loved how removed from the world the artists appear to be; their intense focus only on their art.
A large pot from an artisan in New Mexico. In our little town we have a quaint garden nursey. One day my wife was perusing the flowers when an old man in his truck drove in from New Mexico. He had a truck load of beautiful pottery. Apparently, he and his wife have a pottery studio. He loads up and makes the rounds to local garden centers. Not the big box stores, just small mom and pop places. He makes a killing, and his prices are very affordable. the garden center gets a cut, and we get a real deal, we now have 3 of them. Gotta love small mountain towns!

Artisan in Istanbul, graciously allows me to share the morning with him. A very humbling experience.
The Readyville Mill is a photographer's dream. This wonderful old United American Metals box is a work of art in itself; add to that the well-worn beauty of hardwood floor, made even more beautiful with the dust from generations of Mill work and dust.
