This is some phone app with various songs that you can put a picture in and the AI morphs the picture to you singing dumb songs.
I got the idea from Ao who posted her own clip of this (www.flickr.com/photos/aoniatsu/51022071137/in/faves-15141...) and I think stuff like this and the Smile App are pretty fun to mess with on your avatar.
-side note- I didn't want to do the same song as Ao did, but it's the only song option that would work on the piece of crap app ^^

Some background:
Because placing naval aviation units under the command of the Air Force during World War II had proven unsuccessful—often forcing the Navy to operate without air support—the Federal Navy regained its own aviation forces starting in 1956. The Naval Aviation Command (later the Naval Aviation Division and Naval Aviation Flotilla) was at times the fleet's largest type of command. At its peak, it comprised five naval aviation wings operating up to 200 aircraft and helicopters. A notable feature was the large number of fighter-bombers—reaching up to 121 at times; these were intended to engage Warsaw Pact amphibious landing forces and were distributed across two naval aviation wings in Schleswig-Holstein.
Starting in 1957, the German Marineflieger (initially “Marinefliegergruppen der Bundesmarine“, abbreviated with MflGr, later renamed into Marinefliegergeschwader or MFG) received their first jet aircraft. This included 68 Hawker Seahawk (34 Mk.100 day fighters and 34 Mk.101 with search radar in a wing pod, necessitating an enlarged vertical stabilizer), which were to serve as interceptors, fighter-bombers, and reconnaissance aircraft, plus 34 de Havilland DH.112 Sea Venom FAW.23 as dedicated all-weather fighters with a secondary attack capability.
The de Havilland DH.112 Sea Venom was a British postwar carrier-capable jet aircraft developed from the de Havilland Venom. It served with the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Australian Navy, and the French Aéronavale (as the license-built SNCASE (Sud-Est) Aquilon). The Sea Venom was the navalized version of the Venom NF.2 two-seat night fighter. The necessary modifications for use on the Royal Navy's aircraft carriers included folding wings, a tailhook (which retracted into a characteristic "lip" over the jet pipe) and strengthened, long-stroke undercarriage. Internal systems and structure were better protected against humidity and salty environment, too. The canopy was modified to allow ejection from underwater. The first prototype made its first flight in 1951 and began carrier trials that same year.
The German export aircraft were newly built and tailored to the operator’s needs, mainly through different mission equipment. The FAW.23 variant featured ejection seats, an American AN/APQ-65 radar as well as American radio equipment, and air-conditioning. They were powered by a Ghost 105 engine, giving improved high-altitude performance and lacked the avionics to deploy the British IR-guided Firestreak AAM, which was not part of the German inventory, anyway.
Pilots and maintenance personnel underwent training in the USA and Great Britain. Delivery of the aircraft to the Federal Navy's naval air groups took place between November 1957 and February 1959.
The German Sea Venoms were distributed evenly between MFlGr 1 and 2 and operated alongside the Sea Hawks. The identification codes for the MFlGr1 aircraft were VA+237 to VA+253 while those operated by the MFlGr2 were VB+241 to VB+257.
Soon after their introduction the German Sea Venoms were re-painted with domestic RAL colors (though basically retained their original paint scheme) during scheduled overhauls and upgraded with avionics for the American IR-guided AIM-9 Sidewinder missile. The introduction of the AIM-9 into the German Air Force in general took place in several phases, beginning in the early 1960s. Initial procurements of AIM-9B guided missiles were part of the modernization and equipping of the new jet squadrons, primarily for the Luftwaffe’s F-86 Sabre interceptors. The Marineflieger Sea Venom all-weather fighters were included in this initial program, and the new weapon considerably improved their combat effectiveness. Up to four AIM-9B missiles could be carried on single launch rails under the outer wings, but in practice most of the time only two were carried, together with a pair of 230l (50 imp. gal.) drop tanks to extend range and loiter time.
However, due to rapid advancements in jet aircraft, radar technology and their armament, as well as the fact that the British jet aircraft types were already obsolete at the time of their procurement, they began to be replaced in Marineflieger service as early as 1963 by the F-104G Starfighter, which was a technological quantum leap. Plans to modify five German Sea Venom fighters for Electronic countermeasures (ECM) purposes, similar to British practice with the Royal Navy’s ECM.21 and 22 variants, were not executed.
The last German Sea Venoms were retired together with the Sea Hawk fleet between 1964 and 1965. Of the remaining 27 German Sea Venoms at the time of their retirement two were preserved in museums, while the other 25 were mothballed and offered for sale, but they did not find any taker and were subsequently scrapped by 1970. One has been preserved at the Military History Museum Berlin-Gatow Airfield in Berlin, another at the International Aircraft Museum in Villingen-Schwenningen.

The kit and its assembly:
This is another “tribute build”, inspired by a recent fictional aircraft skin by fellow member SPINNERS at whatifmodellers.com: a rather simple one, a D.H. Sea Venom re-painted and -badged as an early German Marineflieger aircraft, with markings and colors inspired by German Hawker Seahawks. That looked quite elegant, and I was inspired enough to turn this idea into hardware on short notice.
Problem is, though, that there are not many 1:72 Sea Venom kits around, and so I ended up with one of the many Frog kit revenants, in this case as an Aquilon in a recent Iom Kit boxing. What I found amazing: I got this kit from a seller in the Ukraine, and that motivated me even more to build it as soon as possible. However, the old molds are apparently worn, and the kit comes with lots of flash, poor fit in general, raised panel lines as well as a THICK and yellowish one-piece canopy. Anything you want…
Since I just wanted to build SPINNERS’ idea in hardware form, I decided to build the Sea Venom mostly OOB, and just with small mods. For instance, I did not spend much effort to improve the interior – the cockpit would remain closed, with the OOB pilots in their seats and no extras like a dashboard etc. Just trigger handles for the ejection seats were added, because these would be visible from outside, and I turned the pilot’s head left so that he would not look dead straight ahead.
Lots of lead was hidden in the radome and in front of the cockpit to keep the nose later down.
When I glued the wings together, I eventually decided to invest into an aftermarket improvement, though: a pair of QuickBoost resin intakes, intended for the Airfix Vampire trainer kit and almost as expensive as the kit itself! But the OOB solution on the Frog kit is SO bad and ugly that there was simply no way of improving it – a “big solution” was required, and it eventually worked out.
Speaking of the Frog kit… fit is poor in general, hardly any seam matches well, PSR galore and everywhere. Worst thing were the wing roots, which required three PSR turns to make things match somehow, and the canopy, which did only roughly fit over its fuselage opening: one of the rare cases that I even had to use putty to fill gaps! And the clear part was so blurry that I tried to polish it (also to get rid of putty residues), with mixed success, though. At least you can tell that a crew is on board…
To improve the model a bit more I added bits and pieces here and there. This included ventral ejection chutes for the 20mm guns, additional authentic air scoops, and some blade and whip antennae on wings and fuselage. A scratched display adapter was added for the in-flight pictures. The landing gear’s OOB main wheels were replaced with donors from an Intech F-16 and the struts adapted to accept them. The simple OOB exhaust “ring” was also improved with an internal pipe and more delicate edges. I also changed the ordnance into a pair of drop tanks with integral pylonds, left over from an Airfix BAC Jet Provost, IIRC, plus a pair of AIM-9B Sidewinders on matching pylons with launch rails from the scrap box.
Painting and markings:
Quite simple, the German interpretation of the Sixties NATO standard naval paint scheme (a dark grey over a light grey), in this case RAL 7012 Basaltgrau (which is virtually identical with British Extra Dark Sea Grey) on top and RAL 7035 Lichtgrau underneath (instead of the British rather greenish Sky, or pure white). Deviating from SPINNERS’ inspiring profile I gave the German Sea Venom a high waterline on the front fuselage, though, matching the high demarcation line on the tail booms – adapting the layout from the German Marineflieger Seahawks. From these I also copied the straight waterline in front of the cockpit (most RN or RNZAF Sea Venoms had only a rounded “bib” in front of the windscreen), and the dark wing leading edges as well as the air intakes were adopted.
I only used a very soft black ink washing on the model because Luftwaffe aircraft would hardly look weathered, I just used post-panel-shading to bring some virtual surface details back after the raised panel lines had mostly disappeared through all the sanding work.
The cockpit tub became very dark grey, as well as the ejection seats, and to make them more visible under the blurry canopy I provided the crew with bright orange jumpsuits and white “bone domes”.
The landing gear struts became a brownish metal (not certain if that’s magnesium? I used Humbrol 56 and added a bit of sand brown), based on lengthy WWW research, while the wells became Humbrol 56 and the wheel discs became white – again inspired by the Marineflieger Seahawks.
The Sidewinders became all-white, while the drop tanks were painted in RAL 7035 to match the rest of the aircraft.
The markings differ from SPINNERS’ profile, because I tried to stick closely to early Sixties Seahawk liveries. These did not feature unit badges yet, and the “MARINE” tag was also still missing. The Iron Cross roundels did not feature a black outline – just the black base with white edges.
For the tactical code I used the MFlGr 1 code VA (MFlGr 2 had VB für the fighters and RB for reconnaissance aircraft) and gave the Sea Venoms a set of numbers after the Seahawks. The code was puzzled together with single DIN font letters/digits, and this became quite a challenge because there is not much space on the aircraft to place them, esp. with the Marineflieger icon on the nose! Eventually I used smaller markings than originally envisioned, but it still looks O.K.
The early Iron Crosses (poorly printed, later replaced with better material from TL Modellbau) and the Marineflieger badge came from a Hobby Boss Seahawk Mk. 101. The code letters and the German flags on the fins came from TL Modellbau aftermarket sheets, as well as the Iron Cross on the fuselage – due to the little space under the canopy and behind the large Marineflieger icon I had to make the tactical code shorter and smaller than originally intended – I used “251” instead of “247” (saving 1.5mm per side…), reduced font size to 5mm and also used 5mm national markings. Not as intended but still looks good and plausible.
The stencils were mostly taken from the Sea Venom’s OOB sheet (probably the best thing about that kit…) and enhanced with a few more decals from the scrap box, including dual language ejection seat warning triangles from a German Tornado.
Finally, the model was sealed with a coat of semi-gloss acrylic varnish – the German Sea Hawks were not matte, and the shiny finish just enhances the Sea Venom’s clean and pristine look – quite elegant.
