When the recipe tells you that you need a baking pan of height 1 1/2 inches or more, a pan of one third that height is not enough. The butter and sugar bubbled over from the bottom of our cinnamon buns to the oven floor. My apartment stank of smoke for a few days, and the Michelle, my cinnamon bun baking compatriot, had to dismantle a stubborn battery from the fire detector, perched atop a rolling office chair. (We put the battery back in shortly afterwards.)

While scraping the bottom of the oven the next day, I discovered these curious yet intriguingly beautiful configurations of former grease and granulated sugar.

This intervention-exhibition presents artworks and installations across the galleries and public spaces of the McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum, and the Mills Observatory. The works conjure up an image of future artifacts, questions ideas of what we leave behind and reveals the hidden material cultures of our technological age. The audience can choose to hunt for these artifacts or find them by chance; either way they will provide new conversations between museum objects and their audience.

I don't know that this truck was ever called that, but, for an older vehicle, it seemed pretty sleek and aerodynamic to me. Gold King Mine, Jerome, Arizona

Additional Egyptian Artifacts from the British Museum. The BM has the third largest collection of Egyptian artifacts behind the Cairo Museum and the Vatican. This is due to the fact that a large number of finds in Egypt were due to British Archaeologists.

June 18, 2017 - The Xi'an Museum was opened in to the public on May 18, 2007 which happened to be World Museum Day. "The architectural design of the museum follows the traditional Chinese concept of the universe - a round heaven and a square earth. It has been recognized as one of the ten landmark buildings of the city and offers excellent facilities for the display of precious cultural relics thereby ensuring their full appreciation".
