A change of speed, a change of style, a change of scene, with no regrets,

a chance to watch, admire the distance, still occupied, though you forget.

Different colours, different shades, over each mistakes were made.

I took the blame, directionless so plain to see,

a loaded gun wont set you free, so you say.

Well share a drink and step outside, an angry voice and one who cried,

well give you everything and more, the strains too much, cant take much more.

Oh, Ive walked on water, run through fire, cant seem to feel it anymore.

it was me, waiting for me, hoping for something more,

me, seeing me this time, hoping for something else.

I shot this picture two days ago while I was walking among the temple complex of Khajuraho (खजुराहो) which is a village in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, located in Chhatarpur District, in the center of India.

The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture.

The name Khajuraho is derived from the Hindi word khajur meaning date palm.

Those ladies are bringing back into existence some of the splendor of those temples of the city which was once the original capital of the Chandela Rajputs, a Hindu dynasty that ruled this part of India from the 10th to the 12th centuries.

The Khajuraho temples were built over a span of a hundred years, from 950 to 1050.

There were originally over 80 Hindu temples, of which only 22 now stand in a reasonable state of preservation, scattered over an area of about 8 square miles (21 km²).

After their abandonment, a number of them survived and were rediscovered during the late 19th century while the jungles had taken a toll on some of the monuments.

Those women asked me to take a few pictures of them, they were proud and happy that I gave them some time.

I am still travelling for a few days so I'll be able to answer most of your mails and comments in the begining of next week only.

In the meantime I want to thank you all for your kind support that I can read when I find an internet connection for a few minutes.

Have a nice week...

It's my esteem honor and privilege to have my portrait painted by Sophie Shapiro.

Many of us know Sophie by her generous and articulate comments that leave our hearts with warmth and inspire us so. Her paintings with rich history and feeling.

I urge you to spend some time on her website. sophieshapiro.com/index.htm

I've spent a good part of my day reveling in the beauty of her enormous endeavor started on October 31, 2008 in which she painted every person and animal that perished in the sinking of the RMS Titanic of 1912 including those who gave their life in the building of this ship. In total 1,600 souls painted by her hand.

Sophie sees the beauty in the abstract and talks of a symbolic journey and a quest for self discovery.

In viewing Robe of Concealment she writes, "This painting was inspired by my Spirit Guides like all my paintings. It may stir the viewer to see what needs to be thrown away or torn down and whatever remains can provide us with an opportunity to recreate ourselves. There are many doors we walk through in our lives and this painting reminds us to close the door behind. Freeing us to do more things, which may help us to understand our choices and visions. Grounding us without unbalancing our personalities, helping us to awaken a Spiritual understanding, which can help to transform our fears and accept our paths, whatever they may be."

It's my opinion from talking to this prolific artist and getting to know her expression of deep meaning, my life will be changed by her profoundly.

If you like this painting as I do, please favor at this link and show this remarkable woman some love.

Thank you Sophie and thank you all for reading and taking the time to visit. ♥

Here is my interpretation of the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber. The BUFF is built to minifig scale and has many articulating features and configurations. As always, leave a comment if you wish.

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber flown by the United States Air Force (USAF). Designed and built in the 1950s, the B-52 is still in service today albeit in modified form. The B-52 is expected to continue to serve the USAF into the 2050s.

The Stratofortress was designed to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions but also delivered conventional munitions in operations in Vietnam, the Gulf Wars, and Afghanistan.

744 Stratofortresses (742 production aircraft and 2 prototypes) were built and flew under the Strategic Air Command (SAC) beginning in 1955, the Air Combat Command (ACC) after 1992, and in 2010 with the newly created Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). As of 2015, 58 B-52Hs are in active service with 18 held in reserve. Production began in 1954 and ended in 1962 with eight models being produced.

Bluesman Albert King (1923-1992) performing at Estuary Park, Oakland California. The guitar work of Albert King lives on in the playing of literally thousands of blues, rock, and jazz guitarists. Picking with his bare fingers and the volume turned WAY up, Albert created perhaps the most cutting and immediately identifiable electric blues guitar style ever. Absolutely one of the most powerful, articulate, and soulful string benders ever. (subtext borrowed from John Morgan)

Fully Articulate And Posable Design

Housing an internal frame, Smart Doll strikes a balance between aesthetics and poseability. Conventional dolls have a parting line located in the middle of the waist but Smart Doll was designed with the parting line located behind the bust line which provides a more natural look.

Smart Doll was also designed to stand on its own without support but for situations where more stability is required - the Smart Support Socket located at the back means that the Telescopic Stand (included with all Smart Dolls) can be discreetly placed without hindering the aesthetic form of the doll or designers apparel.

When it comes to photography, there are often times that I don't know entirely what it is I am looking for, but I can feel the shape of it. Or maybe another way to put it, I know what it is that I am after, but I cannot articulate it, explain it or put it into words, even to myself. It is like trying to describe a color, without using any color words. Or like describing an emotion. In truth, it is often exactly that, the describing of an emotion, some deeply intuitive and visceral response that defies the range of our meager vocabulary, something that can be felt and experienced, but never adequately described.

The pursuit of my photography is often like that, both on grand levels and microscopic ones. From the scenes I seek out and create down to the composition and the path I take post-processing. I run into this at times when I try to describe how I compose images, but personally, I don't really follow any technicals per se, it often goes by feeling and intuition. I don't know necessarily what the composition is going to end up being until I see it, and then I recognize it for just what I wanted to see before I picked the camera up to my eye. Does that make any sense? Ha, probably not much and it is why I am sometimes challenged by the notion of describing to others the intricate workings of my own photographic process. When I see it, it is something utterly recognizable and familiar, but until I see it I have no way of putting it into words, either for you or even for myself.

Rather than frustrate me, I find the process fascinating. I love the sense of mystery to it, for even when I know exactly what I am doing.... I don't... know exactly, that is. And it is this ability to be paradoxically in two places at the same time with a photo that really fuels my curiosity.

We are breath on the windowpane

Gone in a moment like the green of spring

We are breath on the windowpane

Pass like a shower of summer rain

We live our lives breaking our backs

But there's not enough money to change the fact

We're breath on the windowpane

And though we try to make it last

All our todays are tomorrow's past

We've got just enough

We're a wave upon the sand

We've got just enough

Let us put our lives into God's hands

We may reap, we may sow

But we won't take it with us when we go

We've got just enough

So be thankful for this day

We've got just enough

Let us spend this time in grateful praise

As I lull in my third turn and glimpse into my fourth, I participate without knowing how to articulate forwards. A gut feeling spurred on by spiritual zeal, competitive force and shallow dives into academic splendour. As a nomad, I avoided the hoops and, subsequently, was overlooked without access to the fundamental rights of passage. I dwell alongside and within the fatefully ignored mass. A small-town prophet bogged in with the despisers and doubters. But here I am, trying to punch above my weight while observing my inevitable physical decline in parallel to the great American collapse.

I was anticipating a promise of transformation, but instead, I gained meagre scrapings from the expanse-based corporations intent on harvesting my human product. My era - surplus, money, and surveillance employed by global companies who claim the moral high ground. A socio-economic environment that is simultaneously present, with and against another. For every suicide, there are many more who failed in their attempt. Too many options, wanting closure and simultaneously sort-of-losing-it. So I readily accept the plutocratic freedoms in despair. They trickle down under the condition of social debt and ineptitude and the requirement that we live to serve their economy.

My emotional pain shifted from money-making to political activism, and the rejection of a foretold grinding end. Not recognizing the severity of an authoritative response, I returned from each enlightened crusade to another form of apocalyptic crisis. I desperately tried to out those who inflict their protectionist judgments and systemic sufferings. But our grim wily lords have caged us in and out-witted our desperate maneuvers to unfetter their power. All this and more, as we continue to chant songs of freedom into the night.

At the start of the French Presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2008, the twelve golden stars of the European Flag are mounted on the base, and the whole Eiffel Tower is bathing in blue light.

This was taken underneath the tower but I couldn't be in the center as there was a kind of temporary construction there.

That blue light made me think of a spaceship with David Bowie's song.

LORD POLONIUS [Aside]:

“Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't. Will you walk out of the air, my lord?”

(Act 2, scene 2,)

I am just playing with words and borrowing for the title something from Shakespeare's Hamlet.

The actual line from the play and said by Polonius means “Reason behind apparent folly or disorder”.

There is no madness in this picture, this man was cleaning his body with soap in the Ganges.

I was sitting next to him at the ghats and I took a few pictures, some came in a funny way, with a touch of drama, and of course I could write anything about that expression, I could pretend that an unmentionalble injury effected the mental incapacity of his madness...

But this man was acting normal, he had soap in the eye and his body took this unusual gesture...

The Canon PowerShot SX60 HS is the company's longest zoom camera, boasting a whopping 65X, 21-1365mm equivalent F3.4-6.5 lens. To help keep things steady with all that reach, the SX60's lens is stabilized. It has a traditional SLR-style body with a fully articulating LCD and electronic viewfinder.

Größe und/oder Gewicht: 12,8 x 9,3 x 11,4 cm ; 608 g

Image parameters:

•Contrast

•Sharpness

•Saturation

•Red/Green/Blue

•Skin tone

The SX60 HS is one of only two cameras in its class (specifically - long zooms with 1/2.3" sensors) to support Raw capture (the Fujifilm FinePix S1 being the other), which allows photographers to squeeze the maximum potential out of its images. The SX60 also shares another trait with its Fujifilm competitor: it sports a hot shoe - something rarely found in this class these days.

-

The camera uses a 16.1MP 1/2.3" CMOS sensor which is standard for this class. Images produced by the SX60 are well-exposed with vibrant color and pleasing sharpness. While you can improve image quality by shooting Raw, you'll need to put some time into post-processing. Image quality is quite limited to begin with because of the small sensor, but significantly better results can be eked from the SX60 HS if you're prepared to spend some time processing the Raw files.

In terms of performance, continuous shooting speeds range from 1.3 fps for Raw+JPEG to 6.1 fps for Super Fine JPEGs. In both cases the SX60 is able to fire away without slowing down (using a fast card, up to 8 fps).

Feature-wise the SX60 has plenty to offer for the point-and-shooter as well as full manual exposure controls for the enthusiast. The SX60 also has two tricks up its sleeve to make the long end of the zoom easier to use. One lets you 'back up' the lens so you can locate your subject, and the other will zoom in or out to keep your subject in the frame. As far as video is concerned, the SX60 records 1080/60p clips with manual exposure controls and a microphone input. The camera's Wi-Fi feature is basic but reliable.

The PowerShot G3 X is a premium superzoom with a 1"-type, 20MP BSI-CMOS sensor. This sensor, along with Canon's DIGIC 6 processor, permits an ISO range of 125-12800. The G3 X sports an F2.8-5.6, 24-600mm equivalent lens with 'Intelligent' image stabilization and its rugged body is sealed against dust and moisture. The autofocus system has 31 points and Canon claims a burst shooting speed of 5.9 fps.

The G3 X features a full suite of manual controls, including Raw support and a hot shoe, and there are numerous customizable controls, including the focus ring around the lens. The back of the camera features a tilting 3.2" LCD with 1.62M dots and touch functionality (an electronic viewfinder is optional). Video is recorded at 1080/60p with manual exposure control and mic and headphone jacks. As with most cameras these days, the G3 X also has built-in Wi-Fi with NFC.
