A look back to this day in 2019.
Arthur would often pose for an image. Generally on this bare branch at the top of his favourite perching tree.
A Chattanooga sunset and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge blended together into one shot. Hope you like it. *Explored: May 12, 2022 - Thank you!

From the days when Arthur and Guinevere were around te Sneydes Rd. area.
Perched atop the Tintagel cliffs stands a bronze statue of King Arthur clutching his sword and gazing back across the ruins of Tintagel castle in Cornwall, England, it is around 8ft tall , and created by Rubin Enyon, and is truly an amazing work of art
There is a colour version of this picture on my Flickr account if you would like to see it :)
I have enjoyed many Monarch butterflies in my garden this year, and some of them have allowed me to photograph them. I decided to name them after historical or mythical monarchs, in alphabetical order and according to gender. This is Arthur.

Read my story:
The well-known sculpture of the legendry King Arthur at Tintagel Castle in Cornwall England. I deliberately chose a stormy day to try and get some storm clouds overhead and in the hope that I could get the place relatively devoid of other tourists. I got the clouds but the tourists were still out in numbers, many bemused as I lay on the ground to get this perspective, others disappeared under the influence of Photoshops clone tool!!!!
Arthur's Seat (Scottish Gaelic: Suidhe Artair, IPA: ['sui.ǝ'arthari]) is an ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh, Scotland, which form most of Holyrood Park, described by Robert Louis Stevenson as "a hill for magnitude, a mountain in virtue of its bold design".[¹] It is situated just to the east of the city centre, about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the east of Edinburgh Castle. The hill rises above the city to a height of 250.5 m (822 ft), provides excellent panoramic views of the city and beyond, is relatively easy to climb, and is popular for hillwalking. Though it can be climbed from almost any direction, the easiest and simplest ascent is from the east, where a grassy slope rises above Dunsapie Loch. At a spur of the hill, Salisbury Crags has historically been a rock climbing venue with routes of various degrees of difficulty, but due to hazards, rock climbing is now restricted to the South Quarry and a permit is required.
Arthur's Seat is located in Holyrood Park, at the end of the Royal Mile. This large, grass covered hill is the remains of an extinct volcano that erupted 350 million years ago.
Arthur's Seat is the highest point of this extinct volcano. It is 251 metres high and surprisingly rocky and wild for a hill in the centre of a major city..
Although the origin of the name is uncertain, some claim that there is a connection between Edinburgh and King Arthur. Arthur's Seat may have been the location of legendary Camelot.

Arthur came to say hello while he was hunting the Sneydes Rd. Paddock this morning. His and Guinevere's nest is about 300 metres away but in an area that is not open to access.

The famous extinct volcano that sits in the heart of Edinburgh. It rises to 822ft and is climbed by thousands every year.
TT02 + TT06 + TT03 in the dirt at the Jcn of the Draytons branch and Mt Arthur branch. Recovery proceedures are underway.. The line to the right leads to Mt Arthur loader. Eventually an 82 class loco was road hauled in behind the train to remove the wagons that were still on the track.
