One for the architecture nerds amongst you - here is the Auditorio de Tenerife - basically a huge theatre/opera house thing. It took 6 years to build and opened in 2003!
I think this building was built for camera people with 10mm lenses! It's soooooo awesome.

This is a series of artwork of the rememberance of Atlanta's Buttermilk Bottom before it was demolished in the 1960's. Many thriving neighborhoods do not exist anymore because of "urban renewal." So history books will have to rely on artwork of that vicinity before it was bulldozed. This is the reason why we should record our surroundings in figurative ways so that our historians in the days to come will be able to place the pieces together of our landscapes, artchitecture, creativity, religion, culture, lifestyles and physical appearance and costumes of the day. I am a believer of keeping the memory alive and appreciative of the positive side of the days gone by.

Alamogordo, just up the road from White Sands, is a fifties boom town just chock full of vintage artchitecture like this.
I decided to post this panorama without cropping it to allow you to see all the details I captured underneath the Texas size sun shade on the new Winspear Opera House.
