Hadn't take an industrial shot for so long, this is the largest Vattenfall Power Station in Berlin, the place is absolutely massive, I didn't get much time last night as I had only just started taking a few shots when the rain started. The D5600 is not weather sealed but even if it was, LE shots in the rain is next to impossible.

I will try to get back there when the weather improves and get more, as this single capture doesn't do the place justice!

I hope everyone is well and having a great weekend, so as always, thank you! :)

Mural art in New London CT

The Singapore Sport Hub

A huge sculpture, "The Morning Line", can be seen - and heard - on the forecourt of the Centre for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe.

Contemporary, electro-acoustic compositions are played in the walk-in sound pavilion, which looks like an atom that has been blown open. The building was designed by the artist Matthew Ritchie and the architects Aranda/Lasch and Arup Agu.

The black, ten-metre-high and 20-metre-long construction made of coated aluminium can be heard from afar: 46 speakers and 12 subwoofers concealed in the sculpture are controlled via a central control unit. When visitors enter the pavilion, which is as delicate as it is powerful, they stand between two giant membranes that capture the sound.

New London...HFF!! :))

I'm confused...HFF!! :))

Utilising pareidolia in photography via the caricature imagined in everyday objects, vessels and a plethora of other potential artefacts, was something I always tried to do, but was never really successful, when I caught these two vessels and noticed the two holes in the bow of the Finntrader (Finnlines), they looked eyes (obviously) from the perspective of the smaller craft, kind of cute in a way.

Had I known shipping would be these fruitful in producing photos I would've done it years ago!

I hope everyone is well and so as always thank you! :)

PS: Oh and an unintentional serendipity with the colours of the Finntrader and the crew of the yacht. (Love it when that happens).

I never thought it would happen to me but it has, as amusing as it may sound and as it is often the jest of many a joke by comedians or in comic film making, but the midlife crisis is very real! Arriving at a stage in one’s life where within the mind reflects on what feels like a former life, undecided on new directions, lost in constant reminiscence of the past, suddenly things you could so easily tolerate now annoy the hell out of you, having spent half a life chasing the unseen and unobtainable whilst simultaneously overcoming the multiplicity of challenges life throws at you, in my case, addiction, CPTSD, overcoming the past, etc, etc and I have done so and I am proud of myself.

But here I am, as many others I am sure have arrived at this point, accompanied with the virtue of having been told I am “different” all my life, succumbing to the realisation I now have encountered something as much as anyone else, not sure if that is a good thing or not. But I am living in a modern era where as people no longer even use words, replaced by emoticons, replaced by the postage stamp consensus via a glowing mobile screen too many call reality, so does anyone even read anymore? Text that is? Hence the title, where do I go now?! The curious switch of navigating to a new field of thought, the inundation of possibilities is overwhelming!

I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! 😊

Since I was mainly traveling in the car today, which is partly due to the long route and partly due to some detours that were very difficult to find (in Thailand, Google Maps doesn't recognize when a road is closed and keeps trying to get you there no matter what) I was only able to take very few photos today (3 to be exact). But I would like to take a closer look at them on the computer when I get home.

That's why I'm using a picture that I took three days ago during my visit to the Tiger Cave Temple near Kananchaburi.

I had hoped for a lot more from the view from there and was just a little disappointed on the way back to the car when I saw the setting sun directly in front of the trunks of the elephants that are part of one of the temple buildings.

Now I just had to position myself optimally and wait for the right moment. And I was more than satisfied with my visit here.

So I watched a video a few days ago titled: “If You Have These 7 Traits, You’re in Your LAST Life Cycle” and it strongly resonated with me, like I said in previous posts, I identified as an Alien when I was just 9 years old, when I spoke about it people understandably laughed, but since then I have found nothing but supportive evidence, I am allergic to just about everything, medicines have strange effects on me, I hate the light, cannot stand the cold, I find I cannot communicate in a shallow fashion, I have never really fitted in, I have constantly had this sensation of viewing life from an exterior perception, I do not belong here, I cannot be bothered with gossip or celebrities, I care not for the next best thing, I have forever been in research of science, the paranormal, esotericism and gnosis, I see and know so much more than anything you will find on mainstream media and quite frankly, my life has been heading to one final question, if I am not to ever come back here, where do I go? I guess I will remember when I wake up.

I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! 😊

The design work around this window frame is a work by Barbara Stauffacher Solomon. The Graham Foundation building in Chicago often has interesting art exhibits as well as musicians playing as part of LAMPO. I went there on Saturday to see the composer Robert Lowe but there was only light from the window coming in behind him so unfortunately a lot of my shots look too hazy for my taste. In any case, if you want to know more about any of these things:
