we had an assignment in my art class which was basically, "make something."
i made this whole multimedia conglomeration that kind of represented music (my instructor had suggested that as a topic for me and it was a good idea); it was becoming very CMJ influenced, as we had just gone to the kickoff party for CMJ the night before (radio station peeps). sh*t went down there, the good and the bad, and it affected me. but the multimedia piece was reflecting that really shallowly.
in the end, these pictures that i spontaneously took within 2 minutes, right before class, reflected my state of mind/self more than anything i could ever put together with the layers and layers of meaning i was trying to fold on top of each other.
simplicity.

I had a glass of OJ with dinner -, 7. Dinner, 8. Lunch from the deli today, 9. PM snack - a cuppa joe and some macadamia nut cookies
