the germ of human's disportment forever the infection
of a being so very gifted and yet so terribly arrogant
perplexing naïvety is nauseous for generations constant bemoaning
what is the prerequisite for living in today's world?
and more to the point, who on earth can answer this?
two words abound with so few signs of the genuineness
'free' and 'love' are in demand, but increasingly hard to trace
shallow is the love from the heart of our supposed politicians
choice is no longer free from the implied "society" formulated

now, again, regimes resorb each and every one's right to the basics of living
a sickening parasite at the top of a pile of it's own victims
related by genes yet to the death we fight for the power of printed paper
forged into our makeup is a hiccup of modernism in urgent need of a shake-up
tantamount to evil are our leaders beguiling a rendition of atrocities of yore
can we not wake and grow up, for we are the lowest of the low in nature's rank
and file for a divorce of duty in our negation of one very splendid planet
we, we, we heed the lighthouse's warning, yet run aground we have
shipwrecked again, the poor must salvage what was theirs by rights
stolen over generations and squandered over markets, the gold of heart
irreplaceable is the spirit that brings us together...so, a plea, please hear me
never undervalue a soul of little obvious material wealth,
for they hold the key to the Earth's primary reserves and treasures,

Just a few feet from where I sit at the computer. He is bold and arrogant and fat as a tick! I don't have a lot of use for Groundhogs (woodchucks) as they have dug holes all over my property. In and under my barn which half is a dirt floor. The last time I mowed the largest area that used to be horse pasture there was a big brand new hole smack out in the middle of it! I am not sure they have so many predators although I have been hearing coyotes more frequently lately,,,,
The candle's lights were reflected on the stained glass windows of the king's palace, gentlemen could be seen courting young maiden who hid their red cheeks behind their fans.
A beautiful almost magical waltz was played by renowned musicians who eagerly tried to please their rather cruel and arrogant king.
The court jester was just one of the many king's pawns, employed to entertain the nobleman and their king.
A mischievous joke was enough for the inflated ego king express his disdain towards the jesters.
' What does a fool like yourself know about me? Your work is to entertain me by showing how miserable and worthless you are. If It weren't for your talent to self degrade yourself you could never have sat your filthy feet into this palace, the king claimed with a mocking tone.'
Laughter could be heard across the hall, apathetic eyes were watching the jesters as the smile vanished from their faces, and as they started losing the desire to make others happy.
The king ordered silver coins to be thrown on the floor to pay the jesters performance, those which were received by the jesters on their knees.
With furry and anger the court jesters left the palace, hate-filled their heart, and vengeance was the only thing that seems to appease their souls.
As the white flowers bloomed during the spring, the palace hosted another ball, ordering the presence of the jesters. Those which delivered once again an outstanding performance. As the music reached its chorus dusk filled the room, the jesters were using masks, red eyes could be seen through the mask, noblemen were falling to the ground breathless, blood running from their eyes and mouth. The food had been poisoned and so was the king's wine.
As the king gasped for air, gargling in its own blood the court jester used his hammer, crushing the king's skull turning the flowers once white tainted red.
On that night all noble people were killed and left with a blood drawn clown card over their bodies.
The story tells the jesters escaped the palace and thenceforth all court jesters were seen as renegades, however, some still claim the jesters were the vengeful spirits of the young court jesters who had their lives unfairly taken by their king during the first ball.
'Shall my jokes become vicious and shall those who made me miserable feel my hammer crash their skulls as my nails rip the flesh from their bodies.'

A magpie in the grounds of Africa Alive in Suffolk.
Magpies are in fact, noisy chattering small crows and their challenging, almost arrogant attitude has won them few friends.
A black and white bird with a long tail, when seen close-up its black plumage takes on an altogether more colourful hue with a purplish-blue iridescent sheen to the wing feathers and a green gloss to the tail.
The bird is between 17.3 to 18.1 in. (44 to 46 cm) in length with a wingspan of between 20.5 to 23.6 in. (52 to 60 cm), and weigh from 7 to 8.8 oz. (200 to 250 g).
Magpies can be found across England, Wales and N. Ireland, but more localised in Scotland, and absent from the Highlands. They are seen in a range of habitats from lowland farmland to upland moors.
The bird seem to be jacks of all trades, scavengers, predators and pest destroyers. They are omnivorous, feeding on young birds and eggs, small mammals, insects, scraps and carrion, acorns, grain, and other vegetable substances
Magpies prefer tall trees for their bulky nest, firmly attaching them to a central fork in the upper branches. In British, Italian and French folklore, magpies are believed to have a penchant for picking up shiny items, particularly precious stones or metal objects to decorate the nest.
Mating takes place in spring and clutches are typically laid in April usually contain five or six eggs, but clutches with as few as three and as many as ten have been recorded. The eggs are incubated for 21–22 days by the female and the chicks fledge at around 27 days. On average, only 3 or 4 chicks survive to fledge successfully. A chick can expect to have an average lifespan of 5 years.
Non-breeding birds will gather together in flocks.
Along with other corvids such as ravens, jackdaws and crows, the magpie is believed to be not only among the most intelligent of birds, but also among the most intelligent of all animals.
Folklore surrounds the magpie, from providing good luck when greeted, to being in league with the Devil, its ubiquitous presence has provided plenty of opportunities for stories. Many surround religion, including the belief that it didn't mourn with all the other birds at Christ's crucifixion, and that it refused to enter Noah's Ark, preferring to stay on the roof and 'swear' for the whole journey.
There is no evidence of any serious overall decline in numbers, so the species is classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as being of 'Least Concern'.
This is "Skippy". He sounds cheerful right?! ....wrong!!! He has the personality of initial Mr. Darcy. Grouchy, arrogant, self- centered and not so friendly, He chases the blue jay, finch and other squirrels away. But I kinda like him.

since the other day and i took a photo of mine and my mum's hands I figured it was time to do one of Dad and I...my dad and i are complicated...we're so much alike it can be scary...and by scary i mean our tempers flare like wild fires around each other...we're also wonderful friends...we butt-heads constantly because we're so much alike and yet always have entirely different views on most things, mostly religion and politics...we're also crazy...we dance in public together, we have our own little language, we're completely weird and obnoxious together...so few people outside of my family see the strange side of my dad which is why i post all of the crazy photos of him...he can also be a stubborn mexican jerk...he's narrow-minded at times, he's arrogant and narcissistic, he also loves me and despite our bad times around each other, i keep in mind they never out way the good because even on our worse day, our worse fight, at the end of it he still comes to say he's sorry and is thankful i can put up with him, just like he puts up with me...he's a good guy :)
John Taylor, the Rootstien firm's sculptor, adds some details to clay model of Jenny Runacre. Jenny posed two hours a day for two weeks before the clay figure was finished and ha to return several times while refinements were etched into a plaster casting. It takes a year to get a mannequin from studio to store window.

I was looking through Suburbia, by Bill Owens and felt inspired to put my own spin on the subject. This particular photo is my modern slash retro take on one of Owen's photos. This one to be precise.

I am so damn proud of this shot. I think it's my new favorite from myself. I hope that doesn't sound arrogant, I honestly don't like most of the shots I take after a couple weeks, but this one I think may last a while.
Wow.
We saw the Taj Mahal in the late afternoon as soon as we got into Agra. It's absolutely, truly unbelievable. I don't want to sound arrogant but I've been to an awful lot of places and I have to say the Taj is top of the charts as far as simply incredible human structures. Adriana and I had a field day spending the afternoon there. We had a guide who was just out of this world, a gentleman from Agra who not only gave us a great tour but also pushed, shoved, and jostled for position amongst the throngs of thousands to ensure we got the pictures we wanted. :)
I posted this one for my 365, if you're looking at the Taj when you walk down the reflecting pool it's taken from the right side. I liked the sun flare and silhouette of the person admiring the building.
India has a lot to offer and the Taj is well worth all the hassle with respect to Indian visas and the drive from Dehli and everything else. It's really a site you should see before you die.
