I had a task in downtown Longmont where I saw this just above me and decided I must have this sample of the tree trying to regrow. The title did come right away. I did not have the tripod so I got the trees and sky well out of focus but I did the best I could and I liked this take.

This view speaks to the persistence of nature not Monsanto. If only the Chinese elm could be eradicated here; that takes persistence of gardener.

Now, we are in late May and the recent snows have increased our snow pack and left us with a greater than !00% sequestered moisture. We have left enough moisture to wring out over the midwest tornado areas. And all this is granted to us on a day when the "Wicked Witch of the North" is gone. Back to the future? No, back to the Jurassic! Triassic, anyone! I remember Klick and Klack had an answer to CO2 in the atmosphere, let all the air out of the tires. Well, with WW gone maybe the CO2 will clear?

Is that like stovetop stuffing?

I don't know why some Chinese person decided it would be a good idea to put English titles on their pirated discs of Arrested Development. Why go to the trouble, if they're being sold in China?

This sentence sounds kind of like Chinese Ebonics. Chibonics?

The Bluth Family Stair Car

Arrested development is one of my favorite shows and the Stair Car is an instant classic!

Based on Pepa Quin's Stair Car with a few alterations to the stair section.

Check out his Arrested Development ablum here for more great builds.

I wish I had a better shot of this guy that blue himself.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (USA) Twenty years ago, Arrested Development rose high above the gangsta-dominated world of hip-hop as a band with a social conscience. Their music brimmed with defiant lyrics of hope and their actions matched their words. After winning the best rap single Grammy in 1993 for its anthemic prayer-like hit Tennessee, Arrested Development donated sales profits to Nelson Mandela and the ANC. The single Mr Wendal highlighted homelessness, and the group donated half its royalty earnings to the National Coalition of the Homeless. It bolstered the group’s popularity and the album 3 Years, 5 Months and Two Days In The Life Of selling more than four million copies, but when a new wave of negative hip hop artists, demeaning women, glorifying drugs and promoting criminality excited the corporate record companies, Arrested Development took a break. A new line-up reemerged in 2000, and has been continually touring, although in 2010, the spiritual guru of the band, Baba OJ, suffered a major stroke and is still undergoing rehabilitation. Founding member and front man Speech is now working with producer and hit maker Kevin “Khao” Cates (best known for his work with Jay-Z, R.Kelly, Snoop Dog) to prepare new music, loaded with powerful lyrics and pulsating grooves.

The venue was changed because of flooding on Harriet Island, so this was unusual as the main stage was indoors. All the main stage acts were amazing. Rage Against the Machine were incredible, a rare opening act that had people going crazier than the headliners. Babes in Toyland were the hometown girls made good. Dinosaur Jr. put on a great set. Alice in Chains were possibly my favorite band at that moment, did not disappoint. I was so happy to see them on the Dirt tour, as that was a defining record for me. Primus were good, but were pretty low energy. The biggest controversy of the day was when we left halfway through Tool's set to catch Fishbone, to the deep regret of one of my friends. (For the record, I wish I had seen the end of Tool's set too, but hey, if we had, I's be saying I wished I had been able to see Fishbone, so what can you do.)

Main Stage: Primus, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Babes in Toyland, Rage Against the Machine

Side Stage: Tool, Sebadoh, Cell, Unrest, Mercury Rev, Mosquito, Free Kitten, Royal Trux, Tsunami, Mutabaruka, Coctails, Scrawl, Luscious Jackson, Genitorturers, Truly, Eggs, Girls Against Boys, Thurston Moore, A Lighter Shade of Brown, Glue, The Karl Hendricks Trio, Hurl, The Goats, The Runties

Taken with my phone outside the Goodwill store, I am kicking myself for not having the right camera.

This is my ode to Gob Bluth and his illusions. We all know that Gob doesn't do tricks, he performs illusions. Because tricks are something whores do for money...or cocaine.

Las Vegas NV- Business Expo

A raffle drawing for all businesses present as just taken place. The winners are now being announced...

"And the winner of the Raffle for a catered country club lunch is (Drum rol) DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON!"

Cheesy music plays while Michael Scott jumps up and does a ridiculous celebratory dance while Dwight Schrute stands behind him waiting for a high five that will never come. Jim Halpert stares at the camera and walks away.

Meanwhile, Lucille Bluth turns to her husband George Sr...

"You told me we were a shoe in! Did your boys not rig it?"

Michael, their son, speaks up, "Rig it? Seriously, I'm surrounded by people that never learn," He shakes his head, "I don't want my son involved with this."

G.O.B. stands up and challenges the ruling, "I object! Dinder Mufflin... Cheated" He Shouts, when in fact, the Bluth Company had been the ones cheating. As usual. "I demand a re-draw!"

Kevin Malone begins to look worried, as the threat of free food fizzles away. Dwight looks G.O.B. dead in the eye, "A Re Draw is completely illogical. Dunder Mifflin won this match. Accept your failure with an ounce of pride and dignity, fiend!"

He steps back quickly as lighter fluid and a dead dove shoot from G.O.B.'s sleeve straight into his face.

"These things never go off when you want them to." G.O.B. stares at his sleeve.

Dwight recovers and double punches G.O.B.'s gut.

The fray begins... Bluths and Dunder Mifflin Employees dive at each other like panthers...
