Now Phill has retired so, sadly, have his 'assistants'. Phill had an array of puppets which he would use to entertain the younger children when taking their photographs. Donald was the most popular as Philli's a dab hand at doing Donald Duck's voice. The children loved it. Donald hasn't taken to retirement as well as Phill has as you can see here. All the puppets were thrown in the corner where Milu sleeps: Milu uses them as extra pillows
We have been put into tiers over here which dictates what we can and cannot do. We are in Tier 2, which gives us certain 'freedoms' but unfortunately my family are in Tier 3 which is the most restricting. We were hoping to meet up after lockdown finishes on 2 December, but now that will not be possible. Hey Ho!
Happy Furry Friday everyone.
Wishing you all a safe and healthy weekend
48hrs, it takes me forty eight hours before I will download and see images from the night out. It was a good night and I want to go back for more;)

This is part of two solar arrays above the neighboring Glen Ivy Spiritual Center, making them the largest private solar energy source in Riverside County..
I headed up to Mauna Kea with a telescope operator for some night photography. The skies were completely clear all night, but it was quite cold and windy. The Submillimeter Array was in its compact arrangement, so I set up a camera there. This image is a stack of 120 40-second exposures. The telescopes are lit by a 50% moon.
The hawk population around Enoshima was a surprise. They patrol the cliffs and beaches for food, and at times, sweep down on people eating!

..This is hard sand with a few rocks on the point...looking West over the Inltracoastal Waterway south of St. Augustine, Fl. The Atlantic Ocean is right behind me across a little strip about 100 yards wide...and this is the Inland Waterway which is parallel to the beach. This whole area is famous for HARD (but pretty) sand...they ran the Daytona 500 on the beach until the 1960s. The Inland Waterway actually runs all the way up the Atlantic Coast of the US..you can stay on it instead of open ocean for about 95% of the way from The Keys up to New England.
When I Leave (James Watkins)
When I leave,
I want to leave,
Like the sun-
Sailing on the horizon
When day is done,
Flung out in ardent array-
Setting in
Short, silent celebration-
Last light best-
Streaked and gloried
In colored simplicity-
Unspent, invisible-
Resting and waiting
To rise again
In eternal
Day-starred destiny
And explosive
Morning
White.

This is IROSA, the rolled-up solar array that we’ll go out and install and deploy tomorrow. It looked beautiful (at least to us), as it was manoeuvred into position by ground controllers with the Station's robotic arm . The teams are ready and the equipment is ready. EVA day is always a great day

SLS Lux is a 57-story skyscraper luxury apartment building and hotel in the Brickell district of Greater Downtown Miami, Florida, United States.
The building consists of 450 condo units and 78 hotel-condo units set atop a parking pedestal. SLS Lux is located at South Miami Avenue and Southeast Eighth Street, across from Brickell City Centre, at 801 South Miami Avenue. It is regarded as one of the best apartment buildings in its neighborhood by residents, with an array of opulent features from marble flooring throughout the common areas, two rooftop pools, an on-site spa and gym, private elevators to each residence, top of the line appliances, modern finishes and 24-hour security and valet service.
Announced in 2014 as the third tower in the Brickell Heights development (although it is across South Miami Avenue), site work and ground construction began in 2014, with vertical construction commencing in July 2015, after receiving approval from the Federal Aviation Administration. Designed by Arquitctonica, the building was, at this time, expected to have 450 "residences" and 95 hotel units with the delivery of fall 2017. In September, when the Related Group secured a $166.1 million construction loan for the project, the number of hotel suites had shrunk to only 84; however, at this time additional amenities were announced including a tennis court, three pools, and a spa, with a bar and restaurant operated by SBE Entertainment.
By November 2015, the building had already been more than 95% leased, with only 24 units remaining un-leased. At that time, Related cut the required deposit from 50% to 30%, in an attempt to lease the final units faster.
