On 6th July, the Oldham Music Centre held it's annual Summer Festival in Parliament Square. As well as the two stages in the square itself, festival also included two additional stages - one in the Parish Church and the other in thee Lyceum itself.
Across the course of the 9 hour festival over 40 performances were given which featured a huge array of styles and experience, from very young beginners through to advanced students about to embark upon university courses and jobs, in many cases, in the professional music industry.
Once again, the sun shone and the crowds were even greater than last year with countless appreciative comments from members of the public.
