Vulcan B.2 started in 1960.
The B.2 featured more powerful engines, a larger wing, an improved electrical system and electronic countermeasures (ECM); many were modified to accept the Blue Steel missile. As a part of the V-force, the Vulcan was the backbone of the United Kingdom’s airborne nuclear deterrent during much of the Cold War. Although the Vulcan was typically armed with nuclear weapons, it was capable of conventional bombing missions, a capability which was used in Operation Black Buck during the Falklands War between Britain and Argentina in 1982.

The M-247 Sergeant York by Alfred (alfredix) was not a big success in fulfilling it’s military goals, but it wins big here as another example of Alfred’s amazing modeling skills using Autodesk Product Design Suite. Be sure to view his Picasa Album to see the level of detail that he goes to. After all of the modeling is done, Alfred translates everything and uploads it in STEP format. [Alfred lives in Germany]
This is disused army village that has been unoccupied for approximately 7 years. It had swimming pools, cinema, church, shops, takeaways, tennis courts, bars, prison cells and more. Unfortunately demolition had started before I made the trip, so lots had already been removed from the site.

Members from the Marine Reserve defeated Army 38-13 in a flag football game held Nov. 25, 2015 at Maxie William Field, Fort Buchanan.
The Seventh Annual Army vs. Marines Flag Football game was hosted by the garrison and was coordinated by the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program. Luis Maldonado and Isaac Cruz, both from Child and Youth Services, refereed the event.
According to Wikipedia, “Flag football is a version of American football or Canadian football where the basic rules of the game are similar to those of the mainstream game (often called "tackle football" for contrast), but instead of tackling players to the ground, the defensive team must remove a flag or flag belt from the ball carrier ("deflagging") to end a down.” Photos by José L. López, public affairs specialist, except for the trophy image taken by Grissel Rosa, public affairs officer.
