It is a spiritual warfare; be sure to use the full armor of God!

US Army Uniform from WW2.

This thing scurried across our path this morning causing Jean (my wife) to freak a little. I don't know - I felt totally compelled to photograph it. Looks ready for anything, huh?

A diesel-powered armored train for Montefalco. Armored trains have a few advantages over tanks, such as speed, range, and independence. Mostly, though, they're cool.

In this picture, a platoon of Montefalcan infantry is riding in a commandeered flatbed after the invasion of the Shogunate Remnant. Also visible is the MG 85, Montefalco's basic heavy machine gun.

This build was heavily inspired by Adult_Boy's tweepunk trains. His photostream is highly worth browsing through. And the machine gun is a combination of Andrew Somers and Backwards Matt.

This will be the last restock until after Iron Man 3 comes out, Dark Red hands are becoming more rare and expensive, this complicates things.

Under our feet we unknowingly step on the backs of thousands of microinvertabates every day. The ground under or feet is a thriving, hidden-world of unimaginable biological complexity and interconnections. This is well demonstrated by the Oribatid mites [Suborder Oribatida (minus the cohort Astigmatina)]. Oribatid mites occur in huge numbers. Under a healthy temperate forest canopy, a square meter of soil-litter can easily contain over 100,000 individual Armored Mites comprising about 100 to 150 species. These tiny mites with armored skin are called Beetle Mites or Armored Mites. They take on such bazar forms that it can test one’s limits of belief.

Armored Mites are so species rich, and our taxonomic knowledge still so in its infancy, that species identification is not a reasonable goal for those that have not spent their lives studying these mites. If I am lucky, I might be able to identify to the family level but even that is really beyond my ability (it does not stop me from trying however). Currently there are over 9,000 named species distributed in 172 families. Only the tip of the taxonomic iceberg has been touched.

Ask a general naturalist if they have ever seen an Oribatid mite or even heard of them. The answer might surprise you. They are small and well hidden. We all live with limited knowledge of the biosphere that surrounds us. Some individuals may appear to know more, but when it comes right down to it, no one even comes close to comprehending the natural world that is in-front of us, let alone what is under our feet.

The three mites shown were taken from a soil sample from under a Pin Oak tree from my manicured front yard on August 13, 2021. I picked out just three, from numerous other Oribatid mites found in the sample, to make these slides.

It took me more time than what I wished to craft, but I love the result,

originally it was meant to be an armored bottom to use with the armored top of the landsknecht.

But before I knew I was on a gambeson and I needed to fit there those nice leather gloves I have been wanting to make.

Sizes for:

- Legacy (original and athletic)

- Belleza Jake (there is a weird bug on the auto-alpha for the hands, you might have to click the alpha manually)

- Signature Gianni

- Inithium Kario (I don't know how to alpha hands separately so the gloves for this size come linked together)

- Aesthetic (once more, as usual, Aesthetic was the big pain to rig, but here it is)

Pieces:

- Boots: both boots come together, no left and right, but they can be used with other outfits

- Pants: they can be used alone, fit nice under the landsknecht because that was the initial idea although then I changed my mind, they work with and without boots.

- Gambeson: Can be used with or without sleeves, it has 5 leather tones in 3 styles each.

- Sleeves: They kinda need the gambeson to work but they can work with or without the gloves

- Gloves: They are lovely and bento, although they need an alpha cause the fingers clip a little here and there

- Neck: There was a technical name for this... (I am sorry Sven I forgot) It is optional, you can wear the gambeson with or without this

And thats all! make sure you test the demo, I hope you like it

Delicate yet effective armor of a cactus.

I also made a militarized version, which is cool-looking, but it's bigger than I care to build these days. I'll say in-universe, that the Armored Salamander had a very limited production run as the HCF-06.

This is my take on Cerberus with some armor on. Credit for the head design to Dark Templar, I said I wanted to use it long ago, but never got the chance till now. There are a few things I dislike here personally, the tail, the front legs, and that I couldn't find another lamp strong enough (and not yellow) to fix the shadow underneath.

This is going to be my entry in the 3rd round in the bio cup over on MOCpages. The theme was a rahi with exposed teeth, so I made it have exposed teeth =P I named it cerberus cause I based the 3 headed giant dog around that. But no, its not meant to be an accurate representation.

This bad boy took no more then 10 hours (spilt into 5 in two days). But mainly because I redid the whole thing when I wasn't happy with the first version. I suggest viewing the gallery (which is public) to see more pictures, this was the only good pic that showed all 3 heads.

The New Brickikan born Johannes Smuts first entered a tank shortly before the "Destructions of the 12 Colonies war", and from then on he would know no other home. During the war he served in both the Allied Army (under General George S. McFatton) in Deland and the Republikan Army in Bolindia, during which he compiled an excellent combat record, a number of medals, and extensive experience as a tank commander. After the war he migrated between various military positions around the world, with a notable career with the Briolui Defense Force, and otherwise working for whoever paid him and put him in command on the front line. It was in 1985, while working in Briolui, that he was paired with an M5 Olifant. One of his jealous superiors thought it would be funny to give their boisterous New Brickikan commander a New Brickikan tank. But Smuts became attached, and would remain with this tank for the rest of his life, even refusing to upgrade to any of the newer vehicles entering the Defense Force. He ultimately left the BDF in 1990, refusing the grand ceremonial honours offered to him by the Brioluian government, but requested that he could take his tank with him. From there he found employment in the Coalition to Restore the Republic in New Brickika (or The Rebellion), and gained heavy experience as a guerilla fighter in the "Bush Wars" of 1995-99 in Nak Hu. During this time he had the tank extensively modified. Aside from flattening the hull, near completely replacing the turret and installing a more powerful (but fuel hungry) engine, the additions included a new 125mm smoothbore gun, a self-entrenching blade, "Bear Claw" mine plows, a comfortable new interior and a variety of other things most tankers only dream of. He also found it a name; "Old Mud and Rust", joking about the filthy, dilapidated appearance of the aging tank. But man and vehicle were so inseparable that his men soon swapped them around, whereupon he became Old Mud and Rust and the tank became General Smuts. And together, they are Old Mud and Smuts. After recovering from a busted hip bone he had himself, and his tank, smuggled out of New Brickika, and retired to Plantasea. His peace didn't last long, as the Plantasean Armored Command bribed him out of retirement with a hefty new salary, and he commanded an armour force with distinction for the duration of the war in Filace and Xenor

A microscale armored train rolling through the countryside. Built to satisfy the requirements of the "Rail Weapon" category in the ongoing DA4 game.

The train is passing by an old maintenance shack and water tower, where ancient steam engines used to stop to take on water.

From front to back, the cars of the train are:

* An armored train engine

* An M1834 "Growler" 60cm railway gun

* An ammunition car, with an integrated handling crane and palletized shells

* A tanker car, to ensure that the crew has enough beer to drink

* An M456 anti-aircraft gun

* An armored crew car, complete with a 72-tap bar.
